    Have you made any progress on suspend and graphics? The last time I tried this none of them worked. And I would really like to get rid of my linux mint install XD

    Okay, so I tried to install Lion anyway, and the isntaller loads a bunch of packages. and then failes at "no DSDT found" and reboots. Pleaze to help the noob. I've been reading my ass off, but I cant seem to get my head around this install.

    I tried using this guide, but the DSDT patcher fails thus: $ java -jar DSDT\ Auto-Patcher.jar packs/Dell/Studio 1747/patch.txt packs/Dell/Latitude E6510/patch.txt dsdt.aml DSDT file is an AML, deleting dsdt.dsl if present... AML file not found DSL File not found Did you have do anything special to make this work?

    That's great to hear. I tried to get this to work myself last night. Both with SL and lion. I could not install either if them because of kernel panics. I guess I'm missing a bootflag or something. I tried using both [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] Legacy. No luck. So if you have the time I would love to hear how you managed this

    I would also really like to know this. I have the same laptop, only with a bigger ssd and twice the ram And I would love to run OSX on it. No need for dual boot for me.
