  1. I am having the same issue. when I boot from the USB it hangs at: I used XFlash to create the USB stick **** [IOBluetoothHCIController][SearchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport! I've tried the boot flags here as well as replacing the nvidia kexts with the ones from 10.8.4 - but still no luck. I cannot boot the Mavericks USB at all. Mountain Lion runs flawlessly on this system - even sleep/wake and p-states work natively (no DSDT) without any issues at all. System: i7 2700K Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD4 - UEFI Bios NVIDIA GTX 570 Any help would be greatly appreciated - Perhaps I should just wait for the final 10.9 instead of the beta?

    DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

I am still having trouble getting the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement to work properly though. Kernel panics even with patched dsdt. Not sure why... maybe my system just can't handle native power management. Either way it is ok, the system works fine with nullcpupowermanagement and I never use sleep anyways... just would be nice to be able to use native speed step

    DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

I think I figured out how to get the stupid audio to work... I've removed AppleHDA completely from /S/L/E and lo and behold, no kernel panics.

    DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

Thanks for the DSDT... Unfortunately I'm still having trouble with this notebook. It has an ALC269 Audio chip and it is giving me hell. VoodooHDA Works, but it causes frequent kernel panics saying something about a dependency not being met in IOAudioFamily. I'm thinking the only way to get it working is to patch applehda. Do you have any experience or know anyone who has experience doing this? I'm at my wits end... Thanks again

    Lion and sound problems

Same Here, I bought a samsung notebook and it has this audio chip... Got it working with a patched VoodooHDA only to have frequent kernel panics traceable to the audio driver. Anyone have a fix that works with a patched AppleHDA? I'm getting frustrated as everything works great in Vanilla Lion except for the sound...

    DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

Hello mald0n. I recently got a new laptop a Samsung 300U1A and I was wondering if you could help me out with the DSDT. I have attached an unmodified dsdt extracted from dsdt patcher and editor. Right now I have everything recognized but the battery and AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement. Thanks for your help mayhemm88_300U1A.zip

    OSX on Dell Latitude E6520...

OK, so i have everything up and running but I am having a couple of issues 1. How does one get shutdown to work properly with this laptop... it is not powering down the laptop all the way 2. does anyone have a DSDT file for this particular laptop/is it possible to run with AppleCPUPowerManagement.kext instead of NullCPUPowerManagement.kext 3. How do you get the OS to dim the screen automatically, or get the Fn Key on the laptop working to dim the display in battery mode Other than those issues, it appears I have a rather nice hackintosh laptop.

    OSX on Dell Latitude E6520...

No I mean DW1501 as in BCM4313 . But I did pick up a DW1510 from Amazon today due to its reputation as a good card for OSX.

    OSX on Dell Latitude E6520...

Thanks, now everything is working except for WiFi which is a DW1501... does anyone know if the BCM43xxx kext works with that card?

    OSX on Dell Latitude E6520...

this might be kind of a n00b question, but how did you get the touchpad and keyboard working. They are not working, and the only way I can do anything is to connect an external USB keyboard and mouse

    OSX on Dell Latitude E6520...

Sleep could probably be fixed by editing DSDT, but i'm no expert on that... I normally use the patcher

Fermi 5XX works with Lion DP4/GM!

The upper corner apple logo is a result of disabling the graphics mode key. I'm not really too concerned about getting it in the right place either so long as my system works. If someone else wants to try, be my guest. Also in regards to the gpu performance remove applegraphicspowermanagement.kext from /S/L/E by moving it to a backup folder. It worked for my GTX 570. be warned though, deleting kexts can cause kernel panics if you aren't careful

Fermi 5XX works with Lion DP4/GM!

Just copy whatever is after the &amp from the line above the one you are adding. That is what worked for me. For the OpenCL hack you need a hex editor. That one is a little more advanced. I'd stay away from hex editing driver files... but that might just be my sysadmin experience talking and add the key <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> if you are having trouble booting boot with the flag npci=0x2000

Fermi 5XX works with Lion DP4/GM!

After hours of playing around with my boot.plist based on a hunch my intuition has paid off. The problem appears to be a bug related to the GraphicsMode key in /Extra/boot.plist. To enable 3D acceleration if you are having problems you must edit the file so that the GraphicsMode key is blank like this. <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string></string> I have tried rebooting five times now, and everything is working 100%
