1. Where's is the User Library on Lion ?

Was using Go to Folder. Useful, thanks!
2. Rackers: Ah, it says Audio ID: 892. Gigabyte's site says ALC888B. Hangsten: Only have one audio related one, ALC8xxHDA.kext in /E/E. I only have done a Lion install (no SL prior). I am using the DSDT specific to this board and rev from tonymacx86. I don't know if that means it is patched or not. I did not patch it, just placed on the dekstop and installed with #####. I figured out my uDac2 works OOB so I am using that for now. Onboard would eventually be nice to get working, thanks for the help.
3. I removed those, and it took care of the HDA error but still wouldn't boot. I went ahead and just reinstalled the OS. Only took a few minutes, and I think I have a much better understanding of the process compared to the first time I stumbled through it and had a lot of issues getting it to boot, etc. Feel much better about it now. The only thing I can't get working is the sound. I have a GA-H67M-D2-B3. Ran the AppleHDA Rollback & ALC8xxHDA (without HDAEnablers). Then ran the system maintenance (learned my lesson last time). No devices show up under Output in sys prefs, but it does show Intel High Def Audio in system profiler. Any ideas?
4. App Store Error: No GUID is available

I checked built in from the Chameleon system preference pane, which is the same as adding this line: <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> And then deleted this file: Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist And then rebooted. This got it working for me so hopefully it helps other people too. My system has a Realtek 8111E.
5. Here is a photo. There is a line about 2/3 down mentioning AppleHDADriver error. Then the KcGErrors at the end. I removed ALC8xxHDA.kext from /E/E. Did it get copied to somewhere else I also need to remove? Tried a permissions repair using disk utility on another system, no dice.
6. It gets very close to starting at the end and says login app was launched. Then it has some errors about kCGErrorFailure and cgspackagesgetworkspacetype. Should I take a photo?
7. Hello, I had my system up and running with everything except audio. I ran ##### 3.8.0 and selecte the ALC8xxHDA.kext. I did NOT do a permissions repair. I suspect that is why my system won't boot. How can I recover? I plugged the drive into another system and: 1. ##### can't be installed onto external drive 2. I removed the ALC8xxHDA.kext from /extra/extensions 3. Tried booting with -x Neither worked.
8. Thank you! I checked Graphics Enabler in the chameleon menu, confirmed it was added in the com.apple.Boot.plist, and rebooted. No more dual monitors.
9. I will try this. Can you steer me in the direction of where the aticonfig file is to edit?
10. Used atienabler in #####. It thinks that I have an additional VGA display 800x600 connected on my second port. This did not happen in previews builds. If I connect a second display, it will not detect or use it. Any ideas how to remove the VGA display or get dual monitors working? Edit: Solved by adding to com.apple.boot.plist in /E/E <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> This even works with dual monitors! Plugged a second DVI display in and it immediately detected it. Thanks guys
11. [GUIDE] Installing Lion DP4 + GM Without USB(Video)

I know this is simple, but you did rename the i7 920 DSDT to just "DSDT.aml" and placed it in extra?
12. I finally got it working. I used ##### for the first boot to get into the installer. Then ##### for the first boot. I used ##### for DSDT and networking and ATi identifier. Now it boots on its own. Also want to add, to fix the GUID error in the Mac App store, add builtinethernet = yes. I used the chameleon prefpane. The only issue... it always thinks I have two monitors connected. There is an 800x600 extended desktop on the right of my screen. Any ideas?
13. 10.7 Goldmaster Installation

I am now up and running as well. This method works, except for the first boot into the installer I had to use ##### from a SL install on another drive. After that, I went through the rest of the instructions. I chose the extra folder matching the processor socket I have (iMac).
14. For step 2., which "original extra folder" did you use?
15. Install Lion DP4 hackintosh

I have the same problem right now with the rebooting, pretty much the same procedure. Using the boot file from sirbow2, I now get the Apple loading screen, but then it locks up instead of restarting (the loading wheel stops turning). Also locks up with -x.
