  1. -v -x npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=0 -nosse42bit The above boot flags take me successfully to desktop in safe mode. Nvidia drivers are installed, GTX 480 is recognized but dont think graphic acceleration is achieved. Flash from youtube doesnt work and it is accompanied by flickering or repetitive loading of imagery with an increase in CPU and RAM usage across all 4 cores (AMD 960T with 8GB RAM). Hope these boot flags help out.

    well i have the same board and using vmware worked fine except there was no ethernet and audio....if i do installation using the DVD i get the message telling me to restart or power off the computer
  3. hello everyone, im new to this but there seem to be no solution for this type of problem as i tried most of them and it doesnt work for me. I dont have titan or natit installed. my computer: - Intel core 2 duo 6600 - Motherboard is asus P5N-E SLI - 1 gig ram - Geforce 7900 GTO - 320 SATA hard drive (Win XP) - 40 GB IDE set as master (mac) - Hp dvd set as slave I booted with or without DVD and i still get the while apple logo that turns into a black background with the text "You need to restart your computer. Hold Down the Power button for several seconds or press the Restart button" Thanks
