    Radeon 3850/3870 thread

Big thanks to lastExile for help. Im using the 10.5.1 Kalyway install, updated to the 10.5.2 Kalyway all in one patch, installed the Leopard Graphics update and then the updated 38xx series fix. QE and CI hardware accelerated and no white menus! I'll post some screens once ive finished doing stuff on the PC side of things!

    No audio? :-(

[How To] Solutions for Audio Problems, A Compilation Have look at that thread, the driver for ACL883 works perfectly for me on 10.4.8.

10.4.x are Tiger revisions, 10.5.x will be Leopard.

I was wondering the same thing, the Leopard forum seems to generally discuss getting it working on an Intel mac...
  6. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=31638 That page has 008, 006 and 003 hosted, they are patched to specific cards, so as long as you dont repacthing them, you should be okay with those? http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=34068 A whole list of supported patches, might help you out.

Ati Mobility Radeon 9600 (devid 4e50) on SiS Chipset

The Katana patch worked for me, in enabling resolutions, but I cant seem to QE/CI woking (also a 4e50) user.
  8. Well ive tried callisto 008 and 006 on my x850xt (pcie), neither of them work using the guide by phoenix3200. Its possible im doing something wrong, although from what I can see every seems to be done correctly. *sigh*

    Nvidia 8800gtx

This looks like an interesting application, I think i might give it a go on my hardware, see if it helps with that, will report back with success/failure (testing on 9700mobility and X850XT). Well, laptop was a bit of a dead end as I wasnt able to find the necessary info. Tried it with my dekstop rig and Dell 2405, didnt seem to work though.

    Katana

Just some feedback I guess, tried this with my desktop rig (C2D and X850XT) no luck, script also didnt manage to get the correct ID for the card (5d52 is my card ID). EDIT, I stand corrected seems like the script is finding the ID of my secondary display for the card 5d72... Also tried this on my laptop which has a Mobility 9700. Fresh install gives me CI/QE but single res. Katana gives me all resolutions but I lose CI/QE. Its a really nice package though, great for n00bs like me. Thanks for all your hard work!

    Inspiron 9100/Mobility 9700 help

Some help would be appreciated. Seems like a clean install gives me CI/QE but with the single res of 1024x768, using the Katana hack I get resolutions but no CI/QE

    Need some help with Callisto!

Both versions dont work for me, yay! But ive heard the x850xt (5d52) is a pain in the arse to get working anyway. Shame really as everything bar graphics is working for me!
  13. The Callisto one is the only one most of us cant try as the site is (and has been) down for some time now. Any help or an easy fix anyone can provide would be greatful, PM me!
  14. Yes, please post how you did it, im having trouble with other menthods mentioned on forum (via search).
