5. Yes, you do. you need to boot OS X either on a mac or in a VM then use the disk utility
6. What ever happened to me using iPortable Snow?
7. I knew what VMware is, I used Oracle Virtualbox. Wouldn't it work the same? All i get when i launch the DMG file is a command line that starts with a "SHELL>" and then i can type. So my main question here is will Virtualbox work? if it is working what do i type on the command line?
8. According to the PDF file that came with the software you need a mac to install iportable snow. I do not have access to a mac, plz help
9. Where do I download iPortalsnow? And can someone plz rite me a quick guide on what exactly i need to do? If this does not work i have a few idea's that if they work, will be fairly easy and I will post how i did them.
10. Thanks for all the suggestions, i will try them as soon as possible and post the results:) thanks again
11. I do not have access to a mac, and ##### or boot123 dont have a capability to boot from a flash drive yet, thanx for the suggestion
12. I have been wanting to install Snow Leopard 10.6 on my PC for quite a while. The only problem that I cant get by is that my PC does not have a drive that will burn a DVD(i have the DMG image on my HDD). I have a 16gb external flash drive. I was hoping there would be a way to boot from the flash drive to install OS X but after hours on end searching the internet I have not found anything. I was thinking that there has to be a way to boot from ##### or boot123 to my flash drive but i haven't found a way. THANX for your time. any help will be greatly appreciated!

Installing Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on my Dell Mini 9

OS X does not run perfectly on many PC's, so the probability of it working flawlessly is slim. but it should be very functional and future driver development will also help it to run more smoothly and flawlessly. and yes, you should be able to use Netbook Bootmaker.

installing snow leopard(no optical drive)

But i thought that ##### does not allow you too boot from a flash drive? only a CD/DVD? sorry i'm new to all of this.
