  1. After 3 more reinstalls, and setting the graphics enabler to yes, manually copying the kernel from the preboot image, got it working. Thanks guys!!!
  2. Graphics is 5570 silent. Tried this, and booting from Andy's boot, and from the HD still the same, stuck at ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin
  3. Waited for 20 minutes, nothing happened...
  4. Done everything by the guide, fifth time reinstalling, and every time after the 10.6.7 update getting AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement timed out and DSMOS has arrived. Guys, please help, I'm completely stuck.
  5. Can anybody post the exact BIOS setting for P8P67 PRO? I'm getting stuck after 10.6.7 update, can't even boot from the Andy's CD. I'm suspecting something in the BIOS.
  6. Anybody successfully running Pro Tools 9 native on P8P67 pro? I'm trying to decide between P8P67/2600k and GA-X58A-UD3R/i7 950, but it seems that there are not too many users who took the plunge . A couple of people over the internet replied that they're happy, but most of them are on windows machines. I realize that PT9 is not written for the newer chipsets, since the Apple hasn't yet implemented Sandy Bridge in Mac Pros, and am expecting problems because of this. I have to buy a new computer in next 15 days, so I'm not in a position to wait for the new PT update or the new 2011 chipset. All thoughts are welcome.
