Can't upload files

I have not been able to upload files. I get a message that says that "You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file." Is this something to do with Internet Explorer 11? Any help would be appreciated.

DV6-6090xx Mac OS X Lion Install Disc

I haven't been able to get HDMI video to work on my external monitor. Right now, the only resolution I can get is 1280x1024. I'm using Appleworm's DSDT that he sent me a few months ago when I was last on the site. I've got everything working except the ATI 6770, the USB 3.0, internal wifi and HDMI. Is it possible to get hdmi working and increase the resolution on the laptop. I should point out that I have the 1080p display on my laptop. Any help woud be appreciated.

DV6-6090xx Mac OS X Lion Install Disc

Appleworm: Thanks, sound works for me now. Still can't get ethernet or left side usb to work. Did you use a specific RTL8111 next? I've tried a couple, but they don't work. Do you have left side USB? Thanks, again.

HP Pavilion dv6-2105ea DSDT Help #2

Maldon: Thanks for the quick response. I really appreciate it. I still can't get audio, wifi, ethernet, or USB on left side to work. The graphics cards still aren't being recognized correctly. Instead of showing ATI 6770 and Intel HD3000, it just shows "Display" in both slots. I'm using a USB wifi adapter for wifi right now. If you could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

HP Pavilion dv6-2105ea DSDT Help #2

Hi Maldon: Any chance that I could get a DSDT for my laptop. It is a HP DV7t-6100 CTO (LM726AV) with the full HD Screen (1920x1080) and the ATI 6770M Graphics card. I compiled a DSDT but it has one error. If you could help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

DV6-6090xx Mac OS X Lion Install Disc

Appleworm: Thanks for the new upload. I burned the install disk to DVD and installed Lion. The install works - I can boot with no flags. The only problem is that I can't get the audio, ethernet, or left side USB to work. Also, the only display I get is 1280 x 1024. I have the high resolution screen (1920 x 1080). Do you have these working on your DV6- 6090? I'm wondering if my DV7t Quad which is similar to a DV7-6195 is somewhat different than your laptop and maybe that is why I can't get these devices working. Maybe I need different kexts. I am going to compare these two machines again. Let me know if you know of any differences. Thanks again for the dmg.

DV6-6090xx Mac OS X Lion Install Disc

Appleworm: I tried your DVD procedure by first restoring the dmg to a new partiton on my HDD. Then I try to boot from that partition, but I get an error message -"Launchctl: Dubious ownership on file (skipping): /System/Library/LaunchDaemons - nothing found to load. What did I miss? Thanks

    DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

Hi MaLd0n, I was hoping you would help me with a DSDT for my laptop. I have a HP DV7t Quad LM726AV (DV7-6195us customized) which I bought from HP. I have previously installed OS X 10.6.7 successfully on my HP DV8t-1000 using Mammoth's method. I have tried installing OS X 10.6.8 on the DV7t using #####-Legacy 2.7.2, Bridge Helper and ##### 3.8 with no success. I installed SL 10.6.3 with #####-Legacy. Can't boot from the HDD, but can from the #####-Legacy disk. The only problem is that most of the devices are not being recognized. The ATI 6770 is not recognized. The touchpad and ethernet are also not recognized. USB works on right side, but not left. When I update to 10.6.7 I lose USB altogether. I've tried different kexts with ##### to no avail. I'm pretty sure the ATI 6770 is causing most of my problems. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

HP Pavilion DV6 DSDT Help #2

What method did you use to recognize the 6770m. I have a HP DV7t Quad which is somewhat similar to your HP. I can't get it to boot into 10.6.8 or into Lion 10.7 using USB boot. Did you use the Mammoth method and if so, which one? Or, did you use some other method? Any help would be appreciated. This 6770m is a tough card to get working. Thanks

I'm pretty sure the ATI 6770 is causing most of my problems. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
