For those with a 0x525A, I am trying to make this kext work.

As of now, the kext loads and can read the card once it's inserted (writing is disabled for now). It will stop working if you extract and insert the card again. I will be working on this kext at least for a few weeks, so you can expect improvements and if you can help troubleshooting that would be very welcome. Source code (modified from @Sinetek and @syscl's) is here.

    Hello everybody!
I want to greet ErmaC and Alessandro17 that given me to become a Moderator of InsanelyMac. ErmaC is a good coder and a good man and Alsessandro17 is a true leader. Thanks for your trust!   A greet also to my friend Mirone, a men who make a lot of people's computer sounding good!   I'm leaving for good this Forum. This is because recently I realized that the OSx86 scene is going in the wrong direction, my honest opinion. Demonstrate to install MacOS is no longer something to be learned, but is a business that everyone must defend, don't know why. I wish this Forum bases its core in technical things like coding, but most of the people have the food ready and ranging from site to site in search of easy solutions, and they do not even need to understand. Too bad!   On my side instead, I'm glad to have met people like meklort, Slice, bcc9, Mald0n, Zenith432, Rehabman, Pike R. Alpha and few other, and I'm happy to have my name in some projects like Clover and Chameleon/Enoch, at least for little things, which satisfies me as much since a bootloader is the only thing (along with Netkas's FakeSMC) that makes your hack working. Thanks to people like them, in few years, I have refined a bit my coding skills, so much that I'm selling softwares here and there (objc/Swift framenworks and a tiny app on the MAS). Not much money, but sometimes I do a holiday..  and of course totally legal and nothing to do with haking!   All the softwares made by me here is now discontinued. I would like to share the source code of some of it (e.g. Pandora's Box), but most of them uses my propietary software, and for this reason I can't. I study to become an engineer, a and I have a job, so what is left is very little time and I decided to dedicate it to real life!   Farewell, Micky1979 out!

First of all I want to thank the opportunity granted to have been a Moderator on this site, was a Privilege.   It was also an honor to work on the Project AppleHDA Patcher with my friend Micky1979 whom I thank for sharing their knowledge and helping as many people as he could.   I want to leave my thanks to my companions of the Olarila: Oldnapalm, Mald0n, Artur-Pt, iHackintosh, and others where we spent nights on IRC, tried to find a solution to the problems, they were great days/nights and fun + coffee.   And not least important C.frio for your generosity and all those who made donations in the form of gratitude for my work, I leave here my "Thank you very much".   But, as Micky himself said the scene took a different turn  and currently has become a weight for me, I'm just being honest here, no offense ok? not to speak of the ingratitude of many for the work of a few without mentioning the dispute that exists in the present day.   Indifferent of these facts I hope that all of you keep doing a good job.  I Think I did my part for this scene contributes as I could, sometimes going beyond my ability    as Jobs said: Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish.   All the best,   Mirone.

You might want to experiment by setting DVMT preallocated memory higher like 96MB or 128MB to see if it makes a difference.

You don't need NullCPU or patch AICPM with Clover. Just enable AsusAICPUPM in config file.

I tried to install OS X El Capitan on my PC and laptop, and so far everything seems to work fine.
However, AppleHDA sound driver may become problematic on desktop.

    Brief hardware configurations:
    PC: i3-530/MSI H55M-P32/GTX460/RTL8111D/ALC888
    Laptop: i3-380M/ASUS H55/AMD6370M/BCM4322/CX20585

I made a new patched driver based on native AppleHDA driver on 10.11 DB1, and my CX20585 works fine.
However, when I tried to patch ALC888, I found that some codec ids such as 0x10EC0855 0x11D41984 are missing.(My bad)

So it seems that AppleHDA binary has changed a lot.

I reinstalled an old version (OS X 10.10.3) of AppleHDA.kext and ALC888 worked again.

So is there anyone who make their desktop audio work properly by using 10.11 DB1's AppleHDA?

    Any suggestions?   Thanks in advance.

    Update 1 @ 2015.06.10

OK, I solved my ALC888 audio issue.
Apple added a new codec id 0x11D41983 in AppleHDA binary.

If you are replacing 0x11D41984 with your codec id, please make sure that you disable 0x11D41983 codec. (Thanks to @lisai9093)

You can either modify the binary by Hex Editor or use Clover's KextsToPatch.

    Name
    AppleHDA Find
    8319D411 Replace
    00000000

I modified toleda's audioALC script to support OS X 10.11 and I can confirm it works for ALC888 on OS X El Capitan.

    Update 2 @ 2015.06.15

new patch-hda script with OS X 10.11 supported: 41F by pokenguyen.

new audio_RealtekALC script with OS X 10.11 supported: 42F by me.
Note that Intel HD Graphics 4600 HDMI Audio in 10.11 is not supported by this script.
I don't have HD4600 now so I cannot test whether the previous patch is still working.
If you have HD4600, you can try it and post a feedback. Thanks in advance.

Driver AirPortBrcm4360.kext in OS X 10.10 has a "whitelist" of compatible models of computers...

For all Wi-Fi modules with any other DeviceID, whitelist is not applicable.

BCM943224HMS in OS X 10.10 work natively, only used model MacBookAir5,1 and MacBookAir5,2.
Clover knows about MacBookAir 5,2,  enough to specify in the config:

If you do not want to rename the model, you need a patch driver AirPortBrcm4360.kext

This is the cheap card I have. I would lose dual monitor if I use either FB Eulemur or Baboon.
Sticking with Dr. Hurt's patch works, I could live without the correct name "AMD Radeon HD 5450"

Lukin has one that's already fix sleep and wake issue. I've added the patch for AMD 5450 graphics and HDMI Audio.
Haven't test the HDMI audio, but full QE/CI is working without modding the kexts.
