  1. [Aiuto] ASUS Series K55V

i've got osx 10.8.4 running perfectly on my k55v i use "OS X 10.8.4 Mountain Lion bootable USB for Intel PCs" from you know where... chameleon 2.2 kext utility the set of kext & /Extra folder provided create 8gb boot usb: dd if="OS X 10.8.4 Install USB.raw" of=/dev/sdbx bs=1024 boot (press '1' after cursor comes down for chamaleon boot - required) -x GraphicsEnabler=No (this to avoid gforce - 610,) install on hd and boot again with -x GraphicsEnabler=No from HD delete kext in SLE: remove a total of 9 kexts : (4 GeForce*, 5 NVA*) install chameleaon 2.2. if you have more than 4gb ram, install provided kexts with kextutility in SLE and /Extra folder (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/68127064/k55v%20osx%2010.8.zip) reboot inmediately, the ethernet kext crashes the system now but not in next boot!, wifi card does not work i've replaced it with Atheros AR5B195 AR9285 AR3011 WiFi WLAN Bluetooth 3.0 Combo Half Mini PCIE from ebay (kext included in the link)
  2. mac os on Samsung np-R519

hi, i've got the samsung r519 detailed below (lspci), i've created a bootable usb drive (8gb) with Snow_Leopard_10.6.1-10.6.2_SSE2_SSE3_Intel_AMD_by_Hazard.iso (highly recommended) and customized with (fake smc, rtc, apple hda) wifi requires: IO80211Family.kext from kexts.com internal lan works 1366x768x32 requires: 222-Chameleon-2.0-RC4-r684-bin.zip trackpad (no scrolling yet) with a prefs file from (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=40428) works all but scrolling audio works fine, volume control with keyboard webcam works with skype and other apps. performance is really nice! not yet working: 1. brightness control (solved with a 3100 kext works on 32 bit only) 2. scrolling with trackpad (using an external usb mouse solves this, but...) 3. sleep (maybe can be solved customizing installation) lspci for samsung r519 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Memory Controller Hub (rev 09) 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09) 00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09) 00:1a.0 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #4 (rev 03) 00:1a.1 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #5 (rev 03) 00:1a.2 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #6 (rev 03) 00:1a.7 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB2 EHCI Controller #2 (rev 03) 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 03) 00:1c.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) PCI Express Port 1 (rev 03) 00:1c.3 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) PCI Express Port 4 (rev 03) 00:1d.0 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #1 (rev 03) 00:1d.1 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #2 (rev 03) 00:1d.2 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #3 (rev 03) 00:1d.7 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB2 EHCI Controller #1 (rev 03) 00:1e.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801 Mobile PCI Bridge (rev 93) 00:1f.0 ISA bridge: Intel Corporation ICH9M LPC Interface Controller (rev 03) 00:1f.2 SATA controller: Intel Corporation ICH9M/M-E SATA AHCI Controller (rev 03) 00:1f.3 SMBus: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) SMBus Controller (rev 03) 02:00.0 Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc. 3. hi, i've got the same machine, my atheros wifi works fine with the kexts.com drivers also chameleon bootloader patch provides 1366x768 resolution audio and web cam also work fine from scratch (hazard distro) the main problem i've found is controlling screen brightness, any clue? i've solved this with a 3100 kext driver working only 32bit, i'm testing with 10.6.8. and it seems to work
