  1. Hello, Just writing to tell you I have an Atheros AR5BMD222 (Atheros AR9462, vendor 168C, device 0034). I've been using v16 with Sierra for some months. Working fine, but having sometimes to switch it off and on to get it working. Today I have upgraded my Acer Aspire S3-391 to High Sierra and v21 10.12 version works great on it, but v21 10.13 isn't working, WIFI not recognised with it. I'm using the next code into my "<key>KextsToPatch</key>" section in Clover config.plist. <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>pci168c,30 to pci168c,34 (AR946x)</stri$ <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> PHN0cmluZz5wY2kxNjhjLDMwPC9zdHJpbmc+ </data> <key>InfoPlistPatch</key> <true/> <key>MatchOS</key> <string>10.12.x</string> <key>Name</key> <string>com.apple.driver.AirPort.Atheros40</str$ <key>Replace</key> <data> PHN0cmluZz5wY2kxNjhjLDM0PC9zdHJpbmc+ </data> </dict> Cheers! PS Great speed readings, checked on a 100/100 Mbps Fiber.
  2. AR946X.v16.kext working very good. The best version of the kext, in my opinion. Checked on a 100/100 MB internet connection. Note: I've used the kext, but not the plist.
  3. No, Atheros BT doesn't have "Bluetooth OFF" button on Sierra. But BT works, it's more than nothing.
  4. This is my case. Using V14 with this kexttopatch, uploaded the bluetooth firmware, everything seems to run OK in Sierra 10.12.4. Thank you!!
  5. Thank you, I will check it again, because with v10 my computer sometimes hangs, I don't know if it's related to wifi kext, but it doesn't happen to me when I connect to the Internet using an USB ethernet dongle I have.
  6. Sorry, soto2080, if I have understood, you are you using the vanilla kext , not the v5 or v10 Atheros40.kext, aren't you? And, are you copying the vanila Atheros40.kext to /S/L/E, too? Thanks in advance,
  7. I've checked v10, it detects my new 5 GHz router.
  8. I see there's no feedback from the developers. Now I'm using v5 with KextsToPatch and it works for me. I'm happy with it. Great job and thank you!
  9. I agree. And, in my case, v10 gives me great problems with mDNSresolver, tones of time to load everything due to this. Much better v5, but I just use it for some minutes, so I don't know, if I used it for hours, if I would need to do hard reset like in your case.
  10. @NB96, I've done that. With the vanilla IO...kext I've copied the vanilla Atheros40.kext to S/L/E, too. Rebooted two times, etc. It doesn't work. So, do I have to do this with Atheros v5 and not with the vanilla one? I understood this was done with vanilla atheros. Thank you,
  11. Helo, NB96, Could you confirm if I have understood what you said? I'd like to check it.
  12. Hello, NB96! Please, tell me if I understood ok your procedure: 1- The original-vanilla IO80211Family.kext under S/L/E. 2- Copy the vanilla AirPortAtheros40.kext, which is inside of the IO80211Family.kext, to S/L/E. 3- Clover config.plist as it was when I used v5 (I have a backup of that config.plist), but adding the new patch you are saying. 4- I suppose it's easier to use Kext Utility v2.6.6 to rebuild all the kextcaches/permissions/etc and so I don't need to be two times rebooting, etc. Have you checked doing this this way? Thank you very much,
  13. I have to recognise I haven't checked v9 well, because I use ethernet USB nearly all the time, and WIFI just in occasional situations. So, I cannot really say "great", because I haven't experienced it by myself. Sorry for that
  14. Thank you, Chunnann. I have just installed v8. I can confirm it works without KextsToLoad. My ADSL speed is about 15 Mbps and I'll get all of them by WIFI. Great job!! Now I'll check v9.
