  10. Laptop Fan Help

Ok so i wasn't concerned about this until now... so i finally finished installing OSX 10.5.2 Leopard (Kalyway) on my laptop, got the battery meter working, and everything was great... so i put it to sleep i then opened it back up and it powered on with a roar of the fan gusting out hot air of the side of my laptop. I was able to install leopard and work on it for hours and come to think of it, i dont remember hearing the fan at all during that time ? (i may be mistaken) is it possible that the fan won't work until i put the laptop to sleep and wake it back up again.. and one more thing... is there a program (like one for dashboard) that will allow me to monitor cpu temps and such that will work with osx86?? thanks in advance
