    Haswell + HD4600 on VirtualBox

It might be a Haswell issue. I tried and tried...finally gave up attempting to make it happen on VirtualBox. I switched to VMWare and it worked fine (I had to patch VMWare Player, though).
  2. I am trying to install Mavericks (Niresh) on VirtualBox. My computer is HP Envy TouchSmart 17-j043cl laptop (Haswell i7-4700mq + Intel HD4600). I get following message and installation is stopped: *** [iOBluetoothHCIController][searchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport! I tried combinations of -v, -x, -f, CPUs=1, GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No, npci=0x2000, etc. but no success. Some people say it's not a Bluetooth issue; it's a graphics issue. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.
  3. This may be slightly different, but let me ask my question here. I got HP Envy 17-j043cl (i7-4700mq HD4600) and am trying to install Mavericks on VirtualBox, because it should be easier than installing natively. I use Niresh. I successfully installed on VirutalBox on i7-3xxx (Dell laptop), i5-2xxx (Fujitsu laptop) and i7-840qm (HP laptop), but no success on my new HP laptop. Mavericks installation is stopped at: [iOBluetoothHCIController][searchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport! Some people say it's not a Bluetooth issue; it's a graphics issue. I tried -v, -f, -x, cpus=1, GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No, npci=0x2000 and combinations of above, but all same. Would you give me an advise, please?
  4. Hi Mammoth, I tried latest MIIF for DV8 with DSDT. It worked fine and I successfully created MIID/XIID on 8GB USB memory. Everything was fine and OS X installation was successfully done. Chose Macintosh HD from Chameleon, but OS X didn't boot (error screen appeared). I tried to use -v option. It halted after NTFS. ********************************************** NTFS driver 3.2 [Flags: R/W]. NTFS volume name Data, version 3.1. NTFS volume name System Reserved, version 3.1. NTFS volume name , version 3.1. ********************************************** It seems Mac OS tried to enumerate all NTFS volumes but no name for one partition. I made Ubuntu boot CD and created custom DSDT.aml and overwrote it. But the result was same. My PC is HP DV8T-1200 i7-840qm, 6GB memory, BluRay and TV Tuner. Could you please give me some advices? Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
