  1. Monitor your temperature under OSX

I really wish there was a way to view my GF 7800GTX temperature (and set fan speed) Core Temps and Smart temps are available in hardware monitor tho. DFI Infinity 975X
  2. I bought a cheap XFX Geforce 7100GS for one of my machines and that works with QE/CI etc
  3. JaS osx86 installs, yet does not boot

Make sure you use a MBR hdd partition table in the installer, otherwise your computer will not know how to boot from the harddrive.
  4. Boot time switch (How to all the time)

Drag the file to the desktop. Edit the file. Put it back.
  5. Boot time switch (How to all the time)

    Yes, you can add it to com.apple.Boot.plist file Its located in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-f</string> <key>Boot Graphics</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>2</string> </dict> </plist>
  6. Temp of my cores

Thats because Windows shows the temperature that the BIOS is reporting. OSX shows the temp that the CPU itself is reporting (inside the cpu). so the OSX's temp is probably more accurate. And i really doubt that your cpu is only 25 C
  7. Superdrive can mean a number of things, a floppy drive supporting 1.44mb (much space) floppys for example Or a CD Burner, DVD burner and so on... This might help getting Apples applications to recognize your burner: http://www.patchburn.de/
  8. Are the applications you are trying to run PowerPC apps? Because if they are then they are being emulated which makes them slow.
  9. MSI 915GM Speedster-FA4

I did and its not there?
  10. Did anyone try OSx86 on this motherboard? I'm very tempted to buy it. http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/ser...ail.php?UID=615
  11. Hi! I have a Asrock 775 Dual-915GL Motherboard with GMA 900. This motherboard works great with 10.4.1 however i can not get 10.4.3 8F1111g (JAS patched) to setup my graphic card correctly. When it boots I see all sorts of graphic errors all over the screen. This starts just before OSX starts the GUI. If I remove AppleIntel915GA.plugin extension all those graphical errors go away but then i have no Quartz Extreme or Core Image support. Can anyone help me with this? Here is the output from System Profiler: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900: Chipset Model: GMA 900 Type: VGA-Compatible Controller Bus: Built-In VRAM (Total): 128 MB Vendor: Intel (0x8086) Device ID: 0x2582 Revision ID: 0x000e Displays: Display: Status: No display connected Acer AL1714: Resolution: 1280 x 1024 @ 75 Hz Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Not Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported
  12. Asrock P4Dual-915GL works fine, but...

I used the Marklar DVD ISO and patched it with release-1 and the sound works perfectly. I also selected the Extra Extensions in the OSX Installer (without it i got no sound) EDIT: oh yeah i got the Asrock 775 Dual 915GL motherboard with AC97 Sound chipset
  13. DVD Install Succes

If u create a FAT32 and a Mac HFS+ with the OSX Installer Diskutilty and reformat the FAT32 partition to NTFS with Windows u should be fine
