1. Hi to all. I would like to seek for your help because I can't figure out how to enable my internal microphone on my ASUS laptop. Here's what I am using: - Asus X550CA laptop (Intel Core i3) - OS X 10.10 Yosemite - patched DSDT (layout-id is 1) - patched AppleHDA.kext for ALC270 I didn't used HDAEnabler since most of my audio ports and sound are working except the internal mic. My audio codec is Realtek ALC270 and I am thinking that the audio layout could be the problem. This is the only problem that is keeping me from using my hackintosh on my laptop. I want the internal mic working as it should since I use it regularly. I'm attaching my DSDT, patched AppleHDA and codec_dump.txt for reference Any help pretty please?? AppleHDA.kext.zip codec_dump.txt DSDT.rar
2. Hi to all. I have an ASUS X550CA laptop. I already installed OS X 10.10 without any errors. first here are the specs: Processor : Intel® Core™ i3-3217U Processor (3M Cache, 1.80 GHz) Graphics Processor(GPU) : Intel® HD Graphics 4000 Chipset : Intel® HM76 Express Chipset Hard disk : HGST 500GB 5400rpm HDD RAM : 4GB DDR3 1600 MHz SDRAM Wifi : Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter LAN : Realtek RTL8168/8111 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Adapter Audio : Realtek® High Definition Audio ALC277 USB 3.0 : Intel Panther Point PCH - USB 3.0 xHCI Controller Touchpad : Elantech Touchpad v4 Hardware Webcam : USB2.0 UVC HD WebCam Card reader : Realtek RTS5289 PCI-E Card Reader Monitor : AU Optronics B156XW02 V6 WXGA 15.6 16:9 HD 1366x768 Optical Drive : HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT51N SCSI CdRom Battery : 6Cells 4700 mAh 50 Whrs I just want to know how to patch my DSDT to work with native AppleHDA kext. I saw other threads and reported successful patching and I want my laptop to be vanilla as much as possible. I have attached my system-dumped DSDT.aml and Clover config.plist if you want to view it. Windows reported my Realtek codec is ALC277 Many thanks. DSDT.zip config plist.zip
3. It didn't do anything different after I removed it. It keeps on restarting no matter what I do. What should I do then?
4. It still can't boot after I removed Extensions.mkext.. I'm lost now. Do I need a patched kernel for this?
5. I have FakeSMC and NullCPUPowerManagement kexts in /S/L/E. I don't have any kexts in /Extra/Extensions. I have Extensions.mkext in /Extra. I boot by typing -v -x npci=0x2000 as you said. I'm doing this in my USB installer.
6. I'm still having that problem.. I have tried the guide you gave and I followed it. It still restarts when I try to boot into installer. I know my machine is compatible and capable of running Mountain Lion. It's actually weird. I don't know what to do about it. Pls. help me again here.. Thanks.
7. Just as I suspected - it is the kernel itself. Can you give me an idea where could I find those scripts that I should change? I have never encountered any of these before so its kind of challenging for me. I will use the guides you gave and see if it will work out right this time. Thanks.
8. Guys, I'm having a problem with my Mountain Lion installer (DP2 or DP3). I followed this guide here http://www.insanelym...howtopic=276647 and I know that I did everything right. Whenever I boot from my USB, I can make it through the Chameleon bootloader but after it loads all the kexts, my machine always restarts. I cannot even make it to the verbose boot screen. I have tried several boot args to no good. Am I doing something wrong here? Is there anything wrong with the kernel or something? Pls. help me out here......... My machine: CPU: Intel Core i5-750 Mobo: ECS P55H-A (1.0) RAM: 8GB (4x2GB) Kingston DDR3-1333 GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 5750 HDD: Seagate 500GB SATAII OS i'm using: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 (with custom DSDT) SMBIOS: MacPro 3,1 Thanks very much!....
9. I have a problem.. I've installed AppleRTL8169Ethernet.kext through #####. It runs when I reboot my machine the first time and it shows up in "About this Mac" but when I reboot it the second time, the kext is not loaded anymore. It happens every time I install it. I want to use it because it is compatible with my Ethernet Adapter and I want native support. I am also using a DSDT for my machine. "EthernetBuiltin=Yes" is already added to org.chameleon.Boot.plist These are my specs: M/B: ECS P55H-A (1.0) CPU: Intel Core i5-750 RAM: 4GB Kingston DDR3-1333 GPU: Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5750 LAN: Realtek RTL8168 I'm also attaching my working DSDT in case you want to look into it. Any help will be appreciated... Thanks a lot. DSDT.zip

If you are trying to get into the Lion installer, try it by adding PCIRootUID=1 -v It may work for you
