  1. OS X Yosemite DP's builds!

Did you copy the "Packages" folder into System/Installation/ folder ? and also have you copied BaseSystem.dmg and BaseSystemchunk file to the root of the installation drive ?
  2. OS X Yosemite DP's builds!

@warlikewings you need to mount the "/" partition. Type this before you set the permission : mount -uw / Then set the permission: chmod -R 755 FakeSMC.kext and chown -R root:wheel FakeSMC.kext and finally kextload -v FakeSMC.kext. It should work then
  3. OS X Yosemite DP's builds!

is anyone experiencing high "UserEventAgent" usage under CPU ? It takes up 100% of the CPU. Not sure why it is happening. I've installed FakeSMC,Mav. AppleHDA and Realtek Apple Kext, everything else is untouched.
  4. [AMD] 10.7.3 Guide - Experimental Only

Doing it right away - Installed the 32bit Kernel. The system booted up fine I find the scrolling a bit laggy and all other system animations to be laggy too o.O The native apps don't start after x minutes :'( - Installed 64bit Kernel, just KP nothing else Thanks for your work I hope you release a perfect kernel :')
  5. [AMD] 10.7.3 Guide - Experimental Only

Post your PC's Config. Make sure your HDD is set to AHCI mode in the BIOS and connected to the first SATA port
  6. [AMD] 10.7.3 Guide - Experimental Only

I have a XFX ATI 5770 I flashed a older bios to the card so that it can run out of the box for lion using chimera bootloader. Add kernel flags to the org.chameleon.boot.plist file in /Extra folder under the Kernel Flags section. Try npci=0x3000 or npci=0x2000 those are the general values. npci=0x3000 works for me on my motherboard (Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H) Even I had trouble completing the installation with a bootloader selected in iAtkos L2 installer. A manual installation of the bootloader did the work though
  7. [AMD] 10.7.3 Guide - Experimental Only

Ok I fixed that custom kext error by just repairing permissions using Disk Utility and then ran System Utilities in ########. That seems to solve the whole custom kext for me . Deleted the report crash from core services hopefully I'll be able to open apps after 10 min
  8. [AMD] 10.7.3 Guide - Experimental Only

Remove all the custom kexts you have installed and then try booting with these boot flags : -legacy -f -v npci=0x3000 arch=i386 . It should boot up, boots up for me at least when I remove all the custom kexts that I've added
  9. [AMD] 10.7.3 Guide - Experimental Only

I'm facing a problem I can't get my audio working I install a kext and reboot it gets stuck at "AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - OHCI Controller will be unloaded across sleep". Unless I remove the kext system won't boot. Can someone help me ? or am I just stuck ?
  10. [AMD] 10.7.3 Guide - Experimental Only

Confirmed Working CPU : AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 3.2Ghz GFX: ATI XFX 5770 Mobo:Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H HDD in AHCI Mode Kernel Flags : -legacy -v npci=0x3000 Thanks a lot for the tutorial

  12. PCI-E Wifi Card

Thanks I have ordered AR5BXB72. Just because it has better MIMO support than BCM94322MC
  13. PCI-E Wifi Card

I'm currently running Snow Leopard on my AMD X6 , it runs smooth no problems with that. I would now like to purchase a wifi card for my Hackintosh. I have researched for two days and decided to buy an actual Apple Wireless PCI-E card \m/. I am now confused which card to buy. These are the options that I have. (i) Atheros AR5BX92 (ii) Broadcom BCM94322MC Both the cards seem similar, but Atheros one is a little cheaper . I would be really glad if someone would help me chose a card .
