  1. NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX (DELL) help......

Dude, my 7300GT 512mb is working using only the 40HAL, NVDAResman and NVKush, modified by help of diabolik's website. I dont think have all these HALs will work, didn't work for me.
  2. This was done using NVKush, NVDARes and NVDANV40 kexts. There is one problem though, If i change resolution to a lower resolution or use the rotate functionality, the video gets scrambled, if I log off and log back in, it works fine with the changed resolution. So far, 1900 and 1300 resolutions have worked fine using the above. Please let me know if I can get rid of this scrambled video. Let me know if you want more info about what I did to get this. I used Diabolik's website to modify these kexts. The device id for my card is 02e2. Darwin detected 256MB but NVKush helps osx recognize the whole 512 mbs.
  3. Hello guys, Is there any resolves for the Install Kernel Panic that is given below? I'm using Kalyway 10.5.2 on an inspiron 9300, ati x300, 2gig, pentium M 1.76G, intel 2915 ( i think) wifi and broadcom NIc.. Please help me, i've already wasted 3 writable dvds burning the 3.66 Gig ISO, tried with and without adding the kexts.. I currently also own a mbp so let me know if that can be used for something to fix this.. does anyone know how to patch ur install DVD (original leopard dvd)? Thanks guys, and yeah the Kernel Panic error is given below: -------------------------------------------------------------- ====== panic(cpu 0 caller 0x339C1DE0): AppleSMCPDRC ::start - unrecognized device type\n"@SourceCache/IOPlatfromPluginFamily/IOPlatformPluginFamily-315.0.3/ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin/AppleSMCPDRC.cpp Debugger Called: <panic> Backtrace, Format - Frame : Return Address (4 potential args on stack) 0x33a2bdb8 : 0x12b0e1 (0x45833c 0x33a2bdec 0x133285 0x0) 0x33a2be08 : 0x339c1de0 (0x339c3460 0x339c3450 0x33a2be48 0x40baah5) 0x33a2be48 : 0x40fd2e (0x3ceb500 0x3c51c00 0x1 0x3ea6c0) 0x33a2bea8 : 0x411bc3 (0x3c51c00 0x3ceb500 0x3c7cdc0 0x0) 0x33a2bf28 : 0x411427 (0x3c51c00 0x3c6a480 0x0 0xffffffff) 0x33a2bf78 : 0x4100a3 (0x3c51c00 0x0 0x33a2bfac 0x1) 0x33a2bfc8 : 0x19f3cc (0x3c4f2a0 0x0 0x1a20b5 0x357c80) Backtrace terminated-invalid frame pointer 0 Kernel loadable modules in backtrace (with dependancies) com.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin(3.1.5d3)@0x339ba000->0x339c5fff dependancy: com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily(2.4.1)@0x2e24d000 dependancy: com.apple.iokit.IOACPIFamily(1.2.0)@0x2e263000 dependancy: com.apple.driver.IOPlatformPluginFamily(3.1.5d3)@0x3397a000 dependancy: com.apple.driver.AppleSMC(2.0.1d2)@0x33997000 BSD process name corresponding to current thread: kernel_task Mac OS version: Not yet set Kernel Version: Darwin Kernel Version 9.2.0: Sun Mar 2 00:11:08 SCT 2008; made by ToH:xnu-1228/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_i386
  4. Intel Wireless driver

This is the expected behaviour. It does not show up as an airport card. It works as an ethernet card. So jalavoui, what you mean to say is, If I do the P_Disable = 0, it'll connect to the first open network that it finds? Fortunately it works for me because most of the networks around my apartment are not open.
  5. Intel Wireless driver

Thank you bro. I'll try this tonight. One thing, will it remember which network to connect to after boot? Also, this won't make my LED turn on, will it? Thank you very much!! Muhammad
  6. Intel Wireless driver

I tried the 2200 driver for my 2915 in my inspiron 9300 (sse2) it works fine, it shows 4/5 networks in the network lists and it connects to the one i tell it to fine. The only issue i think that's still there is that after every reboot I have to repeat the process of turning the wireless on and connecting to my network. And yea the LED does NOT turn on. Thanks.
  7. Intel Wireless driver

I tried your 2200.dmg, and i'm not sure what revision it is but it only showed two of the networks which does NOT include my network. I have like one dozen networks in my home. Now that you're saying that you have this issue fixed, i'll try to get the most recent version and install that. I'll report success or any issues. Thanks and we appreciate your good work!! Muhammad.
  8. I have a Dimension 4500 with Nvidia Geforce 2 Mx/Mx400, on 10.4.8 (device id: 0110) when I put this id in NVDAResman and NVDia10HAL.kext (not accurate names but bear with me) it gives me a kernal panic on reboot.. has anyone had any success with it so far?
  9. InsanelyMac is for sale

  10. Intel Wireless driver

hey guys, I installed iwi2200.kext and it detected the Airport thing.. when i try to connect it by manually typing the name of my wireless network, it crashes saying i need to reboot... i have 2915 intel wireless... please help!!
  11. I didn't get the battery indicator out of the box like you did, even though I isntalled the Jas 10.4.8, but i have intel.. anyhow I used this bundle to get the indicator.. now i have it, but i have the same problem as you do, on batteries it shows the power to drop very fast, and i think its a flaw coz in reality it is not dropping that fast (you can check using the battery indicator under the laptop, that one shows normal drop), so basically this indicator is just for show, it is decieving i think. Please let me know if anyone has any input on this.
  12. hi guys.. this is a good software worked great at first.. you know i needed to replug after every boot but that didn't bother me much, but now... it works the first time after the boot, i have to give the WPA password and it works.. but just for like a minute.. after that.. it wont matter, it DOES NOT work.. i can do whatever, bang my head against it, doesnt work does anyone have any clue to why this is happening and what is the remedy? besides re installing osx.. and yea, my system specs are: 10.4.8 Jas, Inspiron 9300, ATI x300 mobility.. d-link G-122 usb wireless.. what else would anyone want to know? Thanks guys, keep up the good work !!
