    My sincere apology for this,

    Have sold that card 2 years ago. Updated my profile signature

    I'm running OC on Gigabyte Z97X.

    With OC (your attached) the boot screen is coming up (whitish color of some sort) . I select the drive.

    Then then screen is cleared still whitish color, but i don't see any text scrolling. Maybe the color of verbose output is also whitish , but i don't know how to change that.

    I waited for 5 min. Expecting to see OS installer coming  up. Nothing.

    Thank you for your effort. Any ideas ?

    I recommend installing the system through Clover and then booting through OpenCore.
    I don’t know what the problem is right now.

    Thank you for your reply,

    thing is I cannot see a single thin. OC comes up with option to choose. Once I select to install Mac Catalina from usb drive with OC then I just see white screen. Nothing else.

     Waited for about 5 min, Nothing happens.

     Any ideas

    Nvidia gforce GTX970 not supported in 10.15(max.10.13.6)

    I do not understand what the "white screen" means.
    Install the system through Clover, then collect "OpenCore EFI"

    Guys,

    I'm bit in the dark here.

    Have tried many different settings and even OpenCore fantastic trouble shoot guide. I can't get over the black screen.

    I have also run the debug version of OpenCore (see here in attached screen) to get more info, but even that is not giving me any indication. There is no failure in the logs as well.

    Execution stops at at "25:850 00:040 OC: OcAppleGenericInputKeycodeExit status - Success"

    Archive.zip contains my OpenCore files.

    Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
    I'm trying to configure OpenCore bootloader for my laptop. In the EFI atteached I have used a SSDT-EC prebuilt, so I don't know if it is right.
    Starting in verbose mode everything goes on, but after what I show in the image below appears, a black screen appears, so I think is an iGPU issue. I tried to connect a VGA display and while the main screen is black, that one show the apple logo and the progress bar full for 1/5 more or less. I have no idea about what to do, maybe patch the framebuffer? And in case, how?
    Thank you all in advance.

    Try

    config.plist.zip

    @joedm ru i had a lot of problems in retrieve the ChipName property, until i realize that the key is published this way:

    \U0421hipName

    and even the ioreg command line refuse to show it, so I made the code this way:

    if (ioreg) {
        auto chipName = OSString::withCString(dataSource->getModelName());
        const OSSymbol *cn = OSSymbol::withCString("ChipName");
        ioreg->setProperty(cn, chipName);
        chipName->release();
    }

    This is the fixed file SMCSuperIO.cpp.zip (please don't copy/paste from the forum)

    Guys, try the following app and the following SMCSuperIO.kext, otherwise wont work:

    HWMonitorSMC2.app_v2.5.2_Beta.zip

    SMCSuperIO.kext_v1.1.1.zip

    Help in making the configuration:

    use this command line: hwmlpcconfig.zip to create the right  directory structure for HWMonitorSMC2.app. The program will show OEM informations and not last the LPC chip name needed to correctly place the configuration in the appropriate sub directory. ~/Desktop/LPC/Vendor/ChipName/Board.plist will be created. Of course this is not a valid configuration: you have to correct it with real values.

    Note: users that already posted their configurations should run hwmlpcconfig and tell me the new path to make them working again.

    P.S. the autodetection will work only with Clover and with very last OpenCore.

    In HWMonitorSMC2:

    But there must be Nuvoton NCT6793D.

    OEM informations are injected by Clover, so I'm pretty sure you're using Open Core. Should be nice to have the same informations somewere in nvram or ioreg.

    WAIT! Did Open Core have a boot log with such info:idea:?

    Hi, according to the information from @vit9696, the "board" and "vendor" data can be obtained using variables:

    nvram 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102:oem-board

    nvram 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102:oem-vendor

    Variables will be added to OpenCore in a few days.

    Hi Everyone,

    Im new to this and hopefully someone can help me. I have installed Mojave 10.14.1 on my Dell Inspiron 1577 laptop. What ever I do can not get the intel HD graphics 630 to work probably. It see's the intel HD Graphics 630 7MB.

    I have select smbois 14.3 in clover configurator. I have tried loads of fixes that I have seen on YouTube from forums with no joy. I have attached my config.plist and a debug file. If someone would be able to have a look for me. I would be most appreciate it.

    I have had a friend that has tried to patch the config plist using Hackintool as it was saying I had another graphics card installed. He managed to change it to the Intel HD graphics 630. I have also got whatevergreen and Lilu Kent installed.

    Thanks all for clarifying. I can confirm that the new Super I/O is really working great. All is missing is the link to the well known Apps like Istat for example.

    The question is really if I understood you correctly:

    How to close that bridge from the raw data Super I/O to, for example IStat, which most Mac/Hack users have installed and using. I think the main reason that not more users have switched to VirtualSMC is exactly that reason.... and sorry for stating that in this thread....hope it is not off-topic.

    If I officially submit that as a request, where would that go.... into the VirtualSMC one?

    Thanks again, Mike

    to support sensors in iStat Menus you need to write help@bjango.zendesk.com, maybe they will agree to consider this possibility.

    I add Framebuffer patches stolenmem,fbmem,cursormemm unifiedmem to config.plist.   It's same problem. Panic at com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCFLGraphicsFramebuffer with error "page fault"

    Show you EFI.
