  1. It's the AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext, rm -rf it and you'll be happy with it.
  2. Yo Chrilled, Thanks for your check point. The result was same as yours. I'll try to play with it and see if anything can help solving it. I think I'll try to dump its rom into string to get exact INFO of it via the BIOS dump. Thing I've already tried as follow. 1, DSDT 2, NVkush (Work out great. Less performance compare to NVdarwin tho **100+ CB less**) 3, EFI GFX String Only NVRasman work 4, NVdarwin (Best Result overall, up to 500MB+...but well) 5, BIOS dump to string via windows (Not Yet Done) I'll try to keep on to this... when I'm refilled.
  3. ...whatever you guys take it. **Updated** Lag video fix rm -rf /S/L/E/AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext GA-E7AUM-DS2H Hac Kext Pack With Missing Audio Kext** I just want to help whomever couldn't figure out how to get it to work without the ORI MBK UNI 10.5.6/7 DISC Whomever don't have the Original 10.5.6/7 DISC for MacBook Unibody, just upgrade your own working Hac all the way to 10.5.7 from another Hac that had most Original files and it will be the same thing as soon as you've got it showing 10.5.7. Still as what I've said, no dSTD and BIOS Flash/Hack needed (Do it only if you like to have lower than 2GB Memory Detected). You don't need any other drivers too, so don't waste time to hack/edit your kext info.plist for the one you're starting from scratch. For fastest result, just download the Leo.5.7 Combo Update and do the update rules for Hac, This way you'll have as much kexts as those mbk uni. I'll just post you some kext I've used. These are the only kexts I've add to this NVMB Hac. **FOLLOWING IS WHAT I'VE TRIED FOR MY FRIENDS x3** No DSDT & BIOS Hack!! 1, A working 10.5.7 Leopard on a HD/SSD with as much Original Files as possible + EFIv8/9 + Posted Kexts. 2, Plug it to your NVMB 3, Fire it Up,Press F8 then -v -f -s 4, fsck -fy 5, mount -uw / 6, rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext (Know issue for all NV 9xxx, 2xx ) 7, rm /System/Library/Extensions.* 8, reboot Take it easy... and Remember to Thanks for those who made these kext I really have no juice to upload the whole DMG of mine and don't know anything legal or not to do such thing. I don't even know this post is still here as I saw it crossed out. I'll swing back and see if I get anyone mad again~* GA_E7AUM_DS2H_Hac_Kexts.zip
  4. Not all of mine, I've 26 Hac running 10.5.6 only 5 of them shows up this Bulb. No Graphic Issues at all with this yet. Tested FCPS2 with RT Unlimited editing 1920x1080P60 . Not a single crash. Best to stay off unneeded hacking.. The reason for all you guys panic is because too much junk kexts, permissions, or lags of fsck -fy LOL Still trying to figure how do I upload my 28GB MacBook UNI.. Once it's there, I'll let know.
  5. Hi Everybody, I think it's really hard to have a clue what is the straight forward solution to get this MB done isn't it? I've got everything working and here's how I did to everything. EFI v8 Patched a Clean 10.5.6 disk original from my MacBook (Aluminum Unibody) Dropped NVkush, AppleSMBIOSEFI, OpenHaltRestart, IntelCPUPMDisabler, HDA889a 10.5.6 fix(HDAEnabler & AppleHDA) into /S*/L*/E*/ Done! QE CI Audio LAN works out of original files. NO DSDT!!!!! Remember Don't Need to waste your time to update, patching anything extra.. i.e. DSDT!!!! BIOS!!!! LOL I've 4GB of memory and it's working fine! I've even overclocked it from 2.4GHz to 3Ghz. Power shows the latest compliant power saving edition (via System Preferences THE LIGHT BULB) Check Attachment for what it looks... Enjoy
  6. ATI Mobility X1600, X1700 and others

    That doesn't look like a phoenix output to me at all... Usually it should be like following EDID BYTES: 0x 00 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 0A 0B 0C 0D 0E 0F ------------------------------------------------ 00 | 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF 00 06 AF 74 19 00 00 00 00 10 | 01 0F 01 03 80 21 15 78 0A 85 A5 99 57 4F 8F 26 20 | 1D 50 54 00 00 00 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 30 | 01 01 01 01 01 01 EA 1A 00 80 50 20 10 30 15 20 40 | 44 00 4B CF 10 00 00 18 00 00 00 0F 00 00 00 00 50 | 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 FE 00 41 60 | 55 4F 0A 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 00 00 00 FE 70 | 00 42 31 35 34 45 57 30 31 20 56 39 20 0A 00 CC you must turn them to 4 in a group one line then enter it in the LVDS section
  7. Color depth problem

Try the icc profile from my X1600 post or use the calibrate from System Preferences>>Display>>Color Win LCD Color is different than Mac LCD Color Even Macbooks have bad color without the pre calibrated ICC Profile.
  8. Hacintosh for FCP--need advice

Try Leopard. I've much better experience while video editing compare to the old days using Tiger (Although Ihaven't experience any lag ever. You might also try to remove some codec that cause lags i.e AVC1 Per*an
  9. Your Greatest Photos

Just did one for my friend **Sorry, I've to remove the image upon request lightly PSed (4 Clicks ) ^__^'
  10. Great Post! Same SD5 Owner right here~* I've got it running on my 10.4.11 with pci efi patch too. Just for instance, my current OS X architecture was updated from JaS 10.4.8 to 10.4.10 >>pci efi patch>>online updated to 10.4.11 mach_kernel and AppleSMBIOS.kext were updated through Software Update directly. The only thing I've kept was dmos.kext

  12. AVCHD?

It's been 4 months now, wonder if anyone had any luck on their AVCHD format video on OSX?
  13. Well, it seems weird to set it to 1280x1280 while my screen is 1920x1200...+ (I think most Pros would have a 1600x1200+Screen) Also changing those thumbnails will takes hours to process...(let's say you've 1TB)
  14. OS X or OSX

OS X should be the official as it is on "About this Mac" I think they typed that on too...
