My friend just built this PC and asked me if this is able to be a hackentosh for work in flash and video editing and can use external HDD's CPU: Intel core I3 3225 (Ivybridge) Mobo:http://www.microcenter.com/product/406526/GA-B75M-HD3_LGA_1155_B75_mATX_Intel_Motherboard PSU: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx430m RAM: G Skill Ripjaws 8GB 1333 MHZ as for the rest Im not too sure.

    Well the issue is its a build for my friend who said $500 at first but also said as cheap as possible also I love seasonic and corsair but I only buy expensive 600 watt 80 plus bronze to gold psus from them is there any you'd recommend in the 40 dollar range that you've personally used? He can do 350ish this week he doesnt know if he can actually afford 500

    I'm sorry if im re-asking a question that has already been asked, but I was wondering if my Mobo was compatible Its aASUS M4A78LT-M AM3 AMD 760G I also have a Phenom II x4 B55 3.2Ghz And a Radeon HD 6770 I had trouble before with Kernal Panic when I tried to fix my sound, also I wonder if I can boot it from my slave drive, Thanks for all the help.
  10. the system shutdown false? because after it did that it crashed. Ill try again though, I need a different kernal, anyone know what distro i should get for a AMD system?
  11. Im not sure what to do im uploading the screenshots I have of the error I also at the camelon bootscreen I put -v Busratio=20 and that rd=disk0s2 command It wont let me install it. Mobo: ASUS M4A78LT-M AM3 AMD 760G CPU: AMD Phenom II x2 3.20 ghz 555 Black Edition (Unlocked to a quad core) and a HD5450 card Is ther anything else you need to know?

Im running iAtkos 7v on a Dell Inspiron 1545, I installed iAtkos 7v and it worked fine (Except for USB not working and sound) But, Now I cant boot back into windows 7 Its a NTFS Files system, I tried to repair with the 7 boot disk, But it wont read it nor will Gparted Live CD wont boot (Btw this forum has a ton of info thanks for the info) So i cant set my partition back to active, im trying to format a USB key to see if that doesn anything. HELP PLEASE!!!
