  1. Hi guys, I'm a little stuck and wanted to ask for some help - none of my forum or google searches have uncovered a solution yet. Aim: Install OS X IAKTOS from a USB drive Tools: IAKTOS ISO image, various USB drives, XP or 7, various linux flavors, large ext Hdd and 1 laptop. Limitations: NO CD/DVD drives / writers - NO currently working OS X environment. I have tried various things to get a bootable install image onto my USB drive but have not succeeded yet. Any advice or instruction appreciated.
  2. Is their SSE2 support for this yet?
  3. Intel Wireless driver

This might be a longshot but worth a try. Ralink based cards are currently supported in OS X by Ralink themselves in a similar manner your current efforts. They are detected as an ethernet connection then a wireless configuration utility is used to scan for networks, configure WEP and WPA, then connect. I'm not certain but I'm sure source has been made available for their driver and app at some point. Ralink are usually very accomodating to developers, if you email them and suggest you are developing for their chipset rather than Intel you might be able to get your hands on some source.
  4. b0 error

  7. 10.4.9

10.4.9 was released to developers months ago and many, myself included, have successfully upgraded from 10.4.8. Just search the forums.
  8. Sheesh, if it was that easy I'd have it done already.... you try searching for it and see if anyone has done this, you won't find anything. Thats why this topic is here, and thats why I bump it now and again.
  9. So my laptop has a generic PCMCIA controller; ENE CB-712/714/810 Which is not currently supported or working in any of the current releases (not surprising since Apple have never used this chipset). Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions asto how I might get it working with generic drivers in OS X. DevID = 1412 Vendor = 1524 /me crosses fingers - really need to get my PCMCIA soundcard working.
