  1. HP Mini 5103 90%

It works out the box for most chipsets. Download and install the driver RTL8188CUS for 10.8 on http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...Downloads=true Works perfectly.
  2. HP Mini 5103 90%

Why not buy one of these? It cost £10 and is very small. Very simple. http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/?model=TL-WN725N
  3. How install Mac on my Compaq Cq10 600

I would personally get someone with a Hackintosh or Mac to create an install image on USB with MyHack. Obtain a copy of Lion or Mountain Lion and you should be good to go.
  4. kernel panic on hp mini 110

You need to move the kext that is causing the panic. If you can't boot into the machine, use an install disc to get you to Terminal and remove it from there. You could also try logging on a single user mode, that would bring up Terminal and you can remove the kext from there.
  5. Can you provide a screen shot or any kind of information?
  6. **** FURTHER UPDATE: I seem to have removed the kext with the following; cd /Volumes/OS_X/System/Library/Extensions rm -r AppleTyMCEDriver.kext cd .. rm Extensions.mkext*
  7. Hi all, Wondered if someone could have a look at this panic and let me know their thoughts? The install went smoothly, but at first boot after using the flag -v only, I get the panic. I've done various installs and I keep getting various panics, but this is the correct install as far as I can make out. The machine is a HP NC 6320. Any help appreciated! I just tried the following in Terminal; mount -uw / rm -rf /system/library/extensions/AppleTyMCEDriver.kext exit Rebooted, but the same panic comes up. And I looking at the right thing? UPDATE: I also tried removing the other kexts (I think), but it came back with the exact same error (so I probably didnt remove them). I've tried all variations of the following flags; -v cpus=1 -f Colors=32
  8. HACKINTOSH (Ps2 Keyboard help)

Install the Apple PS2 option instead.
  9. When the disc loads, press F8 and use the following; -v cpus=1 busratio=20
  10. Hi all, I'm having another go at getting my Acer to run Mac OS, this time with Lion. I've gone jumped a few hurdles already, but I'm now stuck.... I've tried booting with various busratios but get the same result. Any idea? Attached screen shot...
  11. So I have completed the installation on my Acer 5551. If anyone can help with any of the below that would be great; 1) mouse cursor is a 1"x1" square 2) no lan connection (Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet) 3) no wireless connection (Broadcom 802.1 in Network Adapter) 4) mic is on and gives feedback (very loud) Also, when I shut down and restart it takes a long time and goes through all the text with the cameleon at the top. It also gets to "ACPI: System State...." and then I have to plug in and unplug a USB device to get things moving to the next stage. I'm sure there are other bits I need to do, but these 4 are the most pressing ones for now. Very difficult to do anything without any form of internet connection! So near, yet so far!

  13. Sorry about the thread title, didn't know how to word it. Basically I have installed Snow Leo, but there are a few things not working. I am trial and erroring choosing different options at the initial install screen - but it takes 20-30 mins to get there. Is there an easier way to access this section of the install? Maybe once I have booted into SnowLeo? Help. Please. (ps can't get kexts online as no lan or wlan yet).
  14. Hi all, I spent about 4-5 days trying to install SnowLeo on my Acer Aspire 5551 - I got it going eventually, but there was no wired/wireless connection and no sound. It was pretty unstable too. I am ready to give it another go now, but could do with saving trial and error time. Any advice on the best install to use for this; Acer Aspire 5551 AMD Athlon II P320 Dual-Core Processor Broadcom 802.1 in Network Adapter ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 Graphics card 3GB RAM 320GB HDD Thanks!
