  1. Sorry it took so long. Mine is attached. DSDT.aml.zip
  2. I did finally get my battery meter to work (I believe properly). I had to follow the tutorial in this thread and create a DSDT rather than use one of the one posted. That did the trick.
  3. Spoke too soon . Seems to give the correct read after boot, but then the battery meter does not move. Will keep digging; I am certainly further than I was before your help!
  4. You're simply fantastic! Works like a charm. Will see if it's accurate; I am just hoping it will tell me when the battery is almost dead . elfox
  5. Hi all, Thanks to everyone on the here, I was finally able to install El Capitan on my M1530! I am having a hard time figuring out how to get the battery indicator to work. I used the DSDT that fusion71au posted (thank you!) in #1888. Tried installing AppleSmartBatteryManager and ACPIBatteryManager with no luck (neither seems to be loading). Does the DSDT require changes? What am I missing? Thanks!!! elfox
  6. I know it's an old thread, but hoping someone can help. I've been trying to install iAtkos L2 (have tried other methods with the same result) on nc6320. All I am getting is black screen when using -v. I've tried all combinations of boot parameters I have come across with the same result. The boot begins with a few lines going by (too fast for me to see), then the screen clears and goes black. At that point my only option is the power button to turn off the laptop. Caps Lock doesn't respond. I have 10.6.8 on the laptop running fairly well, but just can't get past the install problem for Lion. I see people have been able to get through it - can someone help please?
