    Crackling AC97 Audio?

    What file should I modify for that? And would it make any difference? I mean in theory if I can play sound(all beit mono and sounding like {censored}) then the drivers are loaded, just not with the functionability that it needs right?

    platform=x86pc ERROR!

    I have no idea... I can leave it blank, or change to ACPI, or X86PC, or ACPI|X86PC and I dont notice a difference in performace or errors or anything between them.. I question whether or not this actuall has any effect on the system haha has anyone tried changing it to some nonsense and seeing if it gives off an error?

    iTunes/sound problems

    With the latest .3 fix my itunes crashes osx completely... playing mp3s with any other app... its starts off with lots of static... sounds like chipmunks after it gets going and is only mono left channel... I have a VIA AC97 onboard card... Ive played with the new patched AppleAC97Audio.kext and some stuff... Ive managed to have NO sound, detected but no audio... audio but sounds screwy... I think the fix is over my head here haha and im scared to mess with the kexts anymore than I already have... im lucky as hell I recovered from this last flop... any ideas people?
