    DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

@MaLd0n Hello sir, I was wondering if you could help me with my install. I did a clean install using Nawcom boot CD, installed 10.6.3, updated to 10.6.8 + 10.8.0 legacy kernel from Nawcom, but then had to roll back to 10.6.0 because of random hang ups and graphic glitches. Now the system seems to work, but it won't restart correctly. If I restart, it will turn off, but not back on again (fans keep spinning). Also if I put it to sleep, it will go to sleep, never to wake up again, or wake up instantly. On some forums I heard about you and that you were the guy to contact. It seems too much to ask, considering the number of people needing your help, but if you can, I would be eternally grateful. Checking your other posts I found how to extract the files needed, hope I got the right files. Here it goes. Hope you're still checking this forum. I have a: Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT UD5P AMD Phenom II X4 4 GIG RAM DDR2 800 Mhz (at least this is what shows under system profiler) Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT 3 SATA drives send_me_ermalkoci.zip Thanks a lot!

    Snow Leopard on Gigabyte Mobos

Hey guys, Just wondering. Is it totally inappropriate to ask for a Gigabyte AMD motherboard here? I have a GA-MA790FXT UD5P. I found the DSDT patcher, but no info for AMD mobos. Im having trouble with restart/sleep and trying to find some way to fix it. I just installed with Nawcom's boot CD, Updated to 10.6.8 and everything is working (at least it looks like) but when i restart, the pc turns off and doesn't turn on again. same thing when I try the sleep. It goes off, when I power it up again it keeps restarting (cd checking contiguously!) Anyway, before I get more into detail, without being inappropriate, could please someone point me into the right direction? (or the right forum?!) I would be eternally grateful! Thanks to everyone ...
  3. Well let me tell you first that installing OS X on a SONY vaio vgn-aw31m has been a pain in the ... and still not working! Main problems are: 1. Internal screen not working (slowly losing hope that it never will) 2. Graphic card needs a mixture of kexts and EFI strings to work properly (wrong mixture will give you just a nice light blue screen, of course on external monitor) 3. Ethernet card not working and best of all, impossible to find model number. (I'm hoping it's Marvell Yukon 88E8036) or something close to it. Sony please tell us what's inside our PC-s, promise we won't tell anyone. So to even start the procedure you need. 1. Nerves of steel, stainless possibly. 2. good knowledge of terminal commands. 3. A secondary external monitor 4. A secondary computer, preferably a Mac, with internet connection (when you enter safe mode, it won't mount your USB stick if it's Windows formatted)
