1. Program installation problems

Ok, thank you for your lengthy reply. I checked and I did no see any injectors that aren't the one I installed originally. I will have to try and see if I am able to get the methods you mentioned to work. Currently System Profiler says this is the SN: W895154Z5RU After updating Chameleon it did change but I was not sure if Zbrush wouldn't recognize it because it's a general SN for all Hackintosh computers. After some research I found out that most Hackintosh computers have exactly the same SN's. I am still unsure of why Zbrush wouldn't recognize my SN but I will have to see what I can dig up with the Chameleon boot up prompt. I do know that the Mac book Air doesn't have a built in ethernet port. Per: http://www.apple.com/macbookair/specs.html Currently I have my system registered as a iMac. I do have my computer on a wire because it doesn't have a wifi to receive wireless. I don't think that this could be causing the problem. I checked my boot plist and I did not find the pciRoot that you mentioned. Here is my Hardware UUID: A790E931-D4C6-5598-9AF5-3BEEA6C4BA5B Here is my Mac address: 00:ea:6e:7b:00:6c:f0:49 If that helps in any way. I guess I don't understand why Zbrush doesn't use the SN I have listed. Is it detecting that I have a hackintosh or is it checking the serial number against a list and doesn't find it? I have never had this problem before. Could this have been caused by an update? I did recently realize the teamviewer, a computer id using program didn't work anymore. Less than 3 days later I tried to install Zbrush and it didn't work either. I didn't install any updates so I am totally confused why it would happen now all of a sudden. Thanks aceman90567

  3. Program installation problems

Hello everyone, Recently I have finished installing Mac OS on a new computer and I haven't had any problems since installation. Recently I have tried to install Zbrush 4 and Teamviewer, both legit licenses. Teamviewer installs but it won't work because my computer id is not valid. Zbrush however won't even install. A message keeps popping up when ever I run it saying it can find a valid computer ID. After paying all this money for Zbrush 4 it won't even work. I do have an academic version if that makes a difference. On a side note. I am still booting from the ##### cd because I have not been able to get ##### to work with my 1920x1080 monitor. It always goes back to 720x1280 on reboot. I also had a problem with ##### causing my internet and sound to stop working. Occasionally it would give me a "Your computer needs to shutdown" message on os x boot up and a "System up time in nanoseconds" when booting in verbose. I just decided to boot from CD instead of messing up my install multiple times just to get rid of a CD boot until I have some free time to mess with it. Here are my specs: Mac OS X: 10.6.3 (not upgrading yet, don't want to break install) CPU: Intel 960 i7 (3.06 ghz quad core with multithreading) MB: GA-X58A-ED3R rev. 2 GPU: Nvidia 9400 GT (1 gb) RAM: 6gb corsair 1600 ghz DDR3 HD: 500gb WD for mac, 500gb WD for Windows Vista (I recently downgraded from Xp) External HD:1 TB WD, 320 gb WD WD means Western Digital DVD: Sony 16x (nothing fancy) PSU: I have no idea what brand it was on sale and I bought it Thanks for any help you can give! As they say at Microsoft... You've got questions. We've got dancing paperclips!
