Need to definitely try this weekend ;-) Thanks mtek
  2. Asus 1201N Installation and support

Hello: I've a 10.7.4 installation in my Asus 1201n. Reading at eeuser, I've seen there's a modded 326 bios with AHCI and overclock support. http://forum.eeeuser...odded-326-bios/ Has anyone tried it with Lion? Thanks Edit: The links seems to be down. This is the right link for the bios with ahci and overclocking unlocked ;-): http://www.bios-mods...01N-ahci-unlock Edit again: Flashed following this how-to: http://www.jamierf.c...asus-eee-1201n/ and activated AHCI. Lion 10.7.4 seems to work fine for me. I can see the overclocking options too :-)
  3. Thanks a lot juanerson. Edited: Answered myself. Thanks
  4. Hello: I have succesfully installed a 10.7.3 Lion system on a Compaq 6720s (Intel Core2 Duo T5470 @ 1.6Ghz and GMA X3100), following your guide . Has anybody managed to make the system work in 64 bit mode?. I have read that the problem are the gma drivers but according to this: http://www.projectos...p?showtopic=763 , seems that perhaps it could be possible with some DSDT edits. Thanks in advance (and sorry for this english)
  5. Asus 1201N Installation and support

Hello: Aboud HDMI audio, there's a pretty interesting solution that perhaps could be adapted for us: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/10/dem...c-os-x-107.html Cheers
  6. Asus 1201N Installation and support

I fixed this. It was related to the hibernate image on /var/vm. Now, I'm getting an strange issue. The system works fine but hangs randomly without any kind of message or KP. I'm thinking that there's something strange with the OCZ SSD on Lion Another thing, has anybody tried the sleep enabler for 10.7? http://www.kexts.com/view/1422-sleepenable...latest.html http://code.google.com/p/xnu-sleep-enabler/downloads/list Thanks
  7. Asus 1201N Installation and support

Done. Thanks a lot nasseau Edit: I noticed that there's a warning at boot saying "hibernate image is too old". Does anybody have this issue? I have read that seems to be related to the DSDT Thanks.
  8. Asus 1201N Installation and support

Well, repeating the step 9, everything is fine and did a fresh install. Thanks a lot, nasseau and crazyjuice and to everyrone that made this possible :-) Edit: Just enabled audio, network, trim and some few hacks. I miss the 64 bit kernel. I'm trying in com.apple.Boot.plist with: <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>arch=x86_64 npci=0x2000</string> From the Extra folder, but seems that doesn't work. Lion looks really nice Thanks a lot again.
  9. Asus 1201N Installation and support

It was a chameleon problem. I repaired permissions with disk utility, then installed the 1203 using chameleon wizard. I did all three metods. Now I'm having the issue that the installer says that Lion could not be installed in this machine Thanks
  10. Asus 1201N Installation and support

Hello: I'm trying to upgrade my Asus 1201N from 10.6.8 to Lion. I made the USB disk, and everything seems to be fine since I get the same nstat_lookup_entry problem that some of you described. There's a thread talking about this issue here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi...hp/t263249.html About the +4Gb Ram, here is explained why it does not work: http://forum.eeeuser.com/viewtopic.php?id=82918&p=2 The BIOS recognizes the extra ram, but seems that there's a firmware problem. (sorry for the bad english) Thanks
  11. Introduce yourself.

  12. Hello: I have 3 questions for the 100% hackintoshed R1: - Does the vga out work? - Has anyone tried this sleep enabler: **Updated** SleepEnabler for 10.6.5 - InsanelyMac Forum - Does the 2/3 finger scrolling work? Thanks in advance
