  1. Chameleon 2.4 svn

    2700 version doesn't work with RAID 0
  2. Chameleon 2.4 svn

long time to sleep is from writing on hdd, so your hdd is in discussion
  3. Chameleon 2.4 svn

it work fine (for me) but it seems to be principal culprit for not to be able to update on iwork and ilife, posts on this forum sugest this idea.
  4. for me was a really working prob to install 10.9 with bluetooth 4.0 usb stick witch was working OK in 10.8.5. I was unable to to get this usb working in 10.9 so my solution was to replace this stick with another but wit 3.0 version of bluetooth standard. Now every thing seems to be OK, once in wile I need to make repairing at boot.

  7. OSX 10.9 Overclock Problems

smbios.plist afects only About this Mac window, but system information show 28.6GHz on processor speed
  8. OSX 10.9 Overclock Problems

same to me My hardware My Hardware: GA-P35-DS3R Radeon NV 9800 GT Q9300 Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processor Speed: 28,6 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 4 L2 Cache: 6 MB Memory: 16 GB Bus Speed: 1,6 GHz chameleon build 2266 I was on the impresion that chameleon is responsable of detection and injection in kernel for cpu and memory, no ?
  9. If you look only for a CPU model (frecv, cores and so on) you risk to make a disequilibrate computer, you need to coordonate a CPU with speed of RAM, speed of GPU and the spped of HDD to avoid bottlenecks. So the CPU it self not say much about a computer and his capabilities.
  10. NICE, I like, more....
  11. For me this is how it worked Like anyother with this error, wired network was on "en1" and wifi was on "en0", so after reading a lot of www pages with solution this is what worked for me 1. removed all interfaces from system preferences->network 2. deleted "/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist" 3. edited org.chameleon.Boot.plist with <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> I tryed without but not working 4. rebooted 5. added interfaces in system preferences->network in this order, first Ethernet and second wi-fi PS. You have to have a kext for your wired ethernet card in S\L\E, I do not needed any key with "systemid" or "device-properties" keys in my boot plist, but I have a corect serial number in smbios.plist 6. After my EXTRA was OK I use this terminal commands to copy extra to "Apple_Boot Boot OS X" partitions from my RAID 0 diskutil list [Enter] to see what numbers I use on X in diskXs3 commands diskutil mount disk0s3 [Enter] (First drive in Raid) cp -R Extra /Volumes/Boot\ OS\ X/ [Enter] diskutil unmount disk0s3 [Enter] diskutil mount disk1s3 [Enter] (Second drive in Raid) cp -R Extra /Volumes/Boot\ OS\ X/ [Enter] diskutil unmount disk1s3 [Enter] My tutorial to make raid was from here
  12. Link speed

mine look like this, my ideea is this info is only standard, no matter what card you have, i think is coresponding with what chameleon give to OS, or DSDT.aml
  13. Wiki HCL pages formal models !

I see now, my contrib was indeed edited, in my opinion it was unnecesary because I think the hole reason of wiki is to lead everyone to a good config for a working machine, despite the source of the software (if is free). I not want to imply you should be agree with me, and you should let link to (t word), I am aware of the competition on web after audience, publicity, notoriority and so on, but like I say befoure I think final result is much important than ways to get there (in this case).
  14. I wil put again my content on wiki, but it seems people wich do not know how to add content may delete others people content, so perhaps is in place a same kind of warning for Umezala69 user, for this things to not happen again. Umezala69 may think now its OK with his contribution to wiki, he doesn't know he made a mistake. Thank for your answer
