  1. Freeze at "patching mach_kernel"

Hello! I have a macbook air like netbook (white, with "speedz" written on the lid) and I'm trying to get it working correctly. Problem is that I don't have lot of time any more to work on it. So could you tell me please what you did to install with hazard (I have some little problems on vanilla install with alc662 and sleep [+ gma3150 and wifi] [i saw somewhere that sleep worked fine with hazard but not with retail dvd, I don't understand why]) My specs are exactly the same as you except wifi and ethernet. Thank you very much in advance!
  2. DP 2 CPU check in boot.efi

Hello! I have same problem here with DP3! (iMac 4,1 Coreduo) Did you finally get your system to boot with DP2? If not, could you please upload the DP1 boot.efi to give it a try and see what it does please? Thanks and I really hope there's a solution!!
  3. Hi everyone! My DV7 works really well now but I have a little problem, i find my boot time very long: between 30-60 sec! (fresh install) So how long are your boot times (dv7 3131-ez my chipset is pm55 with i5 430m, graphic card gt320m) Thanks in advance, perhaps I missed sth
  4. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hello! Thank you very much for the dsdt!! (excuse me I didn't have very much time to look at my hackintosh!) I just have a little problem: I tried to get my ALC889 working but your patch doesn't do anything. I tried to tweak it with tipps found elsewhere. But I must use HDAEnabler to get System Profiler to show HDA 889 and there's no sound (I used Lagacy889, then ALCxxx + AppleHDA patch, then HDA Rollback) And this, on both 10.6.0 and 10.6.7! I thought perhaps Everest didn't give me the correct hardware info but it would be very very strange! Is it possible that being on an AMD platform breaks the audio?? Thanks again and I hope you or anyone can help me
  5. [Tutorial] AMD 10.6.8 Retail Snow Leopard Guide!

Hello! I'm not an expert and have tried only one amd hackintosh until now but I had a similar problem (acpi platform or decryption...) and after trying different kernels(a lot of I must say, I don't know why!) it worked! I think this could be caused by non matching versions between kernel and os (10.7.0 should be for 10.6.7, isn't it?) That's what I can say!
  6. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hello again Mald0n! Thanks for my DV7 but I'm now with a Gigabyte! I've got a GA-790FXTA-UD5 (with Phenom II x6) (AM3/790FX chipset) and I made a diff between your different GA patches and there are some little differences (apart from audio of course!) that make me doubt... Is it possible for you to take a look at my dsdt? My audio is ALC889 Thank you so much!! send_me.zip
  7. Hello! It seems like you did a lot of great things!! I've got a DV7 but I would like to know what you did exactly with pci code because it surprises me and it would be amazing if it could speed up my boot process too! Also, will the patch pack of mald0n be soon updated with your latest fixes -> I'm very interested in all the work done on HP laptops! Thanks a lot!
  8. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hello Mald0n! You are doing a really cool app, with all fixes you have already included!! It's amazing!!! I've got a DV7-3131ez and I would like to be sure of what fixes I would need, to have a perfect vanilla install My specs are: i5 430M (2.27GHz, L3: 3072 KB, L2: 256 KB, L1: 32 KB), PM55 chipset, 4GB DDR3, GeForce GT 320M (1024MB, with HDMI GT216 audio), IDT 92HD75B3 (I don't know if it's different from IDT 92HD75B3X5), Nokia 6300 Bluetooth, AU Optronics B173RW01 V0 [17.3" LCD] Until now I used DV6 core i patch but I'm not sure of what I do and I have a little "problem": I have 5 devices (card readers + a firewire) that are recognized as Express-Cards (see image + Everest) -> is it possible to change that? + brightness slider hang on 100% + GT320M not recognized in system profiler + perhaps something else... Also if it's possible to have some advices about Chameleon (boot.plist, smbios) or kexts if you see something wrong or to clarify!.. And for dsdt patch it would be wonderful if you could put all the cool stuff done on DV6/DV8 i7, like brightness, batterymanager, hdmi audio, fn keys, firewire, … I attached my send_me.zip with no dsdt loaded Thanks a lot again! --Everest: -Intel® PCHM SATA AHCI Controller 6 Port: JMB38X MS Host Controller JMB38X SD Host Controller JMB38X SD/MMC Host Controller JMB38X xD Host Controller -FireWire Controller: JMicron JMB380 PCI-E 1394a OHCI FireWire Controller and Memory Card Host Controller JMicron JMB381 PCI-E 1394a OHCI FireWire Controller JMicron JMB383 PCI-E 1394a OHCI FireWire Controller and Memory Card Host Controller send_me.zip
  9. [Tutorial] AMD 10.6.8 Retail Snow Leopard Guide!

OK Thanks for the reply but I didn't find any thread with general amd dsdt! Could you please tell me more about this (patches, ...) because I would like to understand what it contains!!
  10. [Tutorial] AMD 10.6.8 Retail Snow Leopard Guide!

Hi, First, great post, it helped me a lot! But I would like to know which fixes and hacks you applied to your dsdt, if possible because I don't have exactly the same MB. It already works well with your dsdt but I would like to have the one from my MB! Thank you in advance!
