    Lenovo x230 reset on FN+F4

    Ok, I remaped another acpi HKEY to "Notify (SLPB, 0x80)" and the problem is still present so it must be something with "Device (SLPB)" Device (SLPB) { Name (_HID, EisaId ("PNP0C0E")) // _HID: Hardware ID Method (_PRW, 0, NotSerialized) // _PRW: Power Resources for Wake { Return (Package (0x02) { 0x1D, 0x03 }) } Method (_PSW, 1, NotSerialized) // _PSW: Power State Wake { If (H8DR) { If (Arg0) { Store (One, ^^PCI0.LPC.EC.HWFN) } Else { Store (Zero, ^^PCI0.LPC.EC.HWFN) } } ElseIf (Arg0) { MBEC (0x32, 0xFF, 0x10) } Else { MBEC (0x32, 0xEF, Zero) } }
  2. Hi, I'm trying to resolve this problem but without success. When I press FN+F4 my laptop instead of sleep reboots but when I select sleep from menu (->Sleep) it works like a charm. So sleep is working but keyboard shortcut not. My Lenovo x230: -Intel i5 3320m -Intel HD4000 -ALC269 EDIT: So this part of DSDT controls FN+F4 shortcut Code (Text): Method (_Q13, 0, NotSerialized) // _Qxx: EC Query { If (^HKEY.DHKC) { ^HKEY.MHKQ (0x1004) } Else { Notify (SLPB, 0x80) } } CLOVER.zip MacBook Pro (Kamil).ioreg.zip

    macOS High Sierra on X230

    Hi, same laptop. I Hi, I'm trying to resolve this problem but without success. When I press FN+F4 my laptop instead of sleep reboots but when I select sleep from menu (->Sleep) it works like a charm. So sleep is working but keyboard shortcut not without kext for ps2 device this problem is still present so i think it is in DSDT My Lenovo x230: -Intel i5 3320m -Intel HD4000 -ALC269 DSDT controls FN+F4 shortcut Code (Text): Method (_Q13, 0, NotSerialized) // _Qxx: EC Query { If (^HKEY.DHKC) { ^HKEY.MHKQ (0x1004) } Else { Notify (SLBP, 0x80) } } CLOVER.zip
  4. @ tluck - I can't simply share kext as you have to generate applebacklightinjector.kext for your lcd panel. All is in rehabman post - https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/native-brightness-working-without-blinkscreen-using-patched-applebacklight-kext.121031/ Use v2 patcher to generate injector. Patch DSDT with "13" patch from his repo.
  5. I think the best option is to use applebacklightinjector - use rehabman script to generate injector and patch dsdt. No smooth transition but you have full range and keyboard shortcut
  6. As from 10.12.4 we can't control backlight with keys, we can either remove intelbacklight.kext or install brightness app, but neither of those solutions are any good , so maybe you can you look at AppleBacklightInjector.kext?
  7. @tluck time to move on to applealc :>, also look in this for ospm http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304530-clover-change-explanations/page-3?do=findComment&comment=2313696
  8. @tluck - great :>, but can you help me where to find it in info.plist?
  9. @tluck Hi, testing new voodoops2controller you make great job, almost perfect for me but in voodoops2 there is no touchpad side scroll function. Also can someone upload original sierra touchpad prefpanel?
  10. UltraNavBundle.kext - if you use trakpoint as your main device use this kext - it is in this topic uploaded by me.
  11. Yes. Everything. CPU, GPU, PM, Aspect Ratio. PS. You have a nice laptop to run osx
  12. Volume and brightness works since 10.12.1 beta 3
  13. Use older version of voodoops2 or edit info.plist inside the kext. Rehabman explained it on his github repo
  14. PrtScr disable touchpad in new version of voodoops2. Why u use this button it isn't even mapped to do anything
  15. T400 can't run osx. The gpu is not supported by osx
