1. Good morning, I recently build an hackintosh based on: - ASUS p7p55D-e - Intel core i7 860 (lga 1156) - NVIDIA gtx750 (maxwell architecture) Using yosemite and nvidia webdriver (now respectively at GM3 and 343.01.01b04), I managed my GTX750 to work, with fullscreen support and no graphic issues (still no opencl and problem with preview, but ehi, it's a beta ). In order to avoid a c-state error during boot, I changed my SMBIOS from Mac Pro 5,1 to iMac11,1 (respectively lga 1366 and 1156) and it fixed my problem. But unfortunatly, after this change, I lost my multimonitor support, and I really can't find the answer! Does anyone have an idea? Thanks for your help and have a nice day Marco

Grazie in anticipo, e buona giornata a tutti. _______________ Marco
8. Hi guys! I know there are so many topics opened already, but I decided to open a new one to explain a my personal problem. and I can't find any infos about it. So, I successfully installed A Snow Leopard 10.6.3 retal dvd with #####+#####, and updated it to 10.6.5. My hardware is the follow: MB Asus P7P55-M Intel i7 860 ATI HD Radeon 57570 For now every thing is working, but i've got some issues (sometime a have a panic during reboot/restart, audio during games is not always perfect, sleep/hybernate doesn't workm, cant boot in 64 bit mode...), so I continue reading and reading here in Insanely Mac and also in Tonymac's, finding out that the miracolous solution would be a patched dsdt. That sounds great, but I'm really really afraid.... why, you'll say! Simple, during my first days with osx86, i was trying almost every guide for unlock my graphic card's qe/ci, I thought that the problem was that I cannot use graphicsenabler=y on boot with my motherboard (black screen and full speed fan); then, I looked for a method to unlock graphicseanbler and I found this guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi...hp/t207635.html The problem was that I didn't know nothing about dsdts nither about following correctly that guide, so I add some strings -totally randomly- to my dsdt. And nothing happened. Later, with the same installation-not-working-qe-ci-dsdt-casual-patched (:-P), I had a bad crash... my computer doesn't turn on any more, and I had to bring it to a technican to resurrect it (he said something about motherboard and condenser....????? and that it was caused by a wrong installation of SL, asking me not to reinstall it or my computer could seriously be harmed). OK, sorry, I spoke too much, but it was to let you understand all the situation. My question is, could be the wrong-edited dsdt the cause of the Mb issue? I would really try that guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=5587 using a my board's cousin dsdt (P7P55D instead of P7P55M) and patch it with tony mac's fixes. Could that re-unlock my computer? Ok, finished :-) Thank you if you spend some time only reading that post, and, like always, have a nice day :-) Marco
9. Triple monitors with ATI Radion 5000, 5xxx

Thank you, i'm going surely to try ;-)
10. [HELP] Impossible update 10.6.5

Hi again, I can't really understand what you are asking me ;-) by the way, aty_init is a kext (an enabler one) used for ati card (so I think) and 'vervet' is for frame buffer (it could be also 'uakari'). You can hand-modify aty_init.kext by changing all 'uakari' into 'vervet', or you can just install the one modified that came with #####. I hope it's all clear, for now, have a nice day. Marco
11. [HELP] Impossible update 10.6.5

I AM A FOOL ;-) I was reading again your answer, and inside there was the answer. Just update to 10.6.5 ---> NO KEXT SUBSTITUTION, but only add my device id to ati5000controller. Then Using ##### 2.6, reinstalla ATY_Enabler vervet and. IT WORKSSSSS!!!! Ohhhh yeah, thank you very much man, and sorry for my mistakes :-P YESYESYES!
12. [HELP] Impossible update 10.6.5

Ok I tried and I failed ;-) That is what I did: -backup my ATI5000controller.kext, ATIFrameBuffer.kext and ATISupport.kext from 10.6.4 (fully patched and working with QE/CI) -installed macosx 10.6.5 combo update -reinstalled old kexts REsult: is better than ever because now i have a blu screen (instead of a grey "patchwork-like" one), changing its tonality every 4/6 seconds.I googled a little and i discovered that that screen is generally a ATIFrameBuffer fault, so I tried to update only atifremabuffer (I tooked the one from netkas)... nope, same situation. Then, I tried to update ati5000controller and atisupport, but I kept old working framebuffer... nope, I got a kernel panic saing that he failed loading atiframebuffer. Then I tried to update ALL the kexts, taking the entire package from kexts.com (they said that they'll work for 10.6.5)... nope, I got the usually grey "patchwork-like" screen. For now, I reinstalled 10.6.4 from a fresh installation, and have my HD5750 working, but I continue searching/trying more and more. Do you have any other ideas? Thank you to every one who'll answer, see ya Marco
13. [HELP] Impossible update 10.6.5

Thank you for answer ;-) I agree with you, I thin it's all connected to that damn graphic card! Anyway, I can boot with -x, but none of my usb works (exect mouse and keyboard). I'going to try IOUSB kexts from 10.6.4. Yes, I add my device id to ATI5000.kext, but I didn't try to backup these kexts from 10.6.4, I'll surely try. I'll write again once back home, now I'm traveling 8) Thank you again, and have a nice night!
14. Hi guys, I'm getting mad. I finally have my system fully work with 10.6.4; but now, when I try upgrading to 10.6.5 I only have, after booting, an absurd grey-noisy screen: the system seems to work, since if i move mouse, i can see some pixels moving, and also i have keybord audio sounds, but i can't see nothing elsa that screen. This problem is the same that i had when tring to install graphics update 1.0. My hardware is: ASUS P7P55-M Intel core i7 860 4gb dd3 corsair ATI HD5750 Does anyone know what to do?
15. Thanks for answer ;-) I think is an osx86 fault because, after unlocking the motherboard the first time, we run again the hd with osx86 and BAM, on reboot/halt, same problem again. And also the third time :-( Than I paid 50 euros and went home!! But I'm pretty sure that I've done something wrong during my tring, and I really really want to try another fresh install of the OS before surrender to Win7 ;-) But first, I choose to ask here!
