1. Hi all, This is my first time doing a hackintosh in many years. I have a 9560 with 4K, Toshiba 512 NVMe SSD. I have managed to use pandora's box to create a bootable USB stick and I am booting into clover and OS X Sierra installer fine. I have also changed to 4k sectors using Linux and set the BIOS to ACHI instead of RAID. However, no disks are available to install anything to (apart from the installation media). I have copied the files from the 9560, 9550 github into the EFI\CLOVER folder on the USB stick and I can see EFI\Clover\kexts\10.12\HackrNVMeFamily-10_12_3.kext. What am I supposed to do? Bit confused here. I can see EFI\CLOVER\ACPI\Patched\SSDT-NVMe-Pcc.aml. Am I supposed to replace it with my ID? \_SB.PCI0.RP09.PXSX Or is it supposed to work out of the box?
2. Would anyone be interested in writing a tutorial or a making a video ?
3. Sounds good. I hope you get sound working - without it it's a no go for me.
4. Any updates on this? I'm thinking of buying a 9560, with 4k display. What will/wont work?
5. Gigabyte U2442N

Is there anyway to get optimus working?
6. Gigabyte U2442N

Thanks. I have HD4000 working, HDMI and VGA out. But the internal laptop display is switched off. I will try some more efi strings.
7. Gigabyte U2442N

Thing is, NullCPU is installed! I just tried removing the NV* Kext's and it boots without safe mode. I don't have HD4000 working. I still get the message about AppleCPUIntel timing out. I'm guessing I need to inject ig-platform-id but I can't find the specific thread about it.
8. Gigabyte U2442N

The issue that I am getting without safe mode is AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement timing out
9. Gigabyte U2442N

Gigabyte U2442N Ultrabook Specs are: Intel Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz (Ivy Bridge) Intel HM77 Intel HD Graphics 4000 (0x8086 (0x1458)) Realtek ALC269 nVidia GeForce 640M Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 BIOS: U2442.F0A Working: LAN (Realtek) using Lnx2Mac RTL Not working: Intel and Nvidia, Touchpad So far I have created a USB install using ###### and Mountain Lion (10.8.0) I have installed to an external USB drive and then updated to 10.8.1 I have used ##### to make the HDD bootable and also created a DSDT.aml The issue I have is that if I boot normally, the boot hangs on "nVidia GeForce GT 640M 0MB NVe7 [10de:0fd2] :: PciRoot (0x1)/PC1(0x1,0x0)/PC1(0x0x0x0)" There is no option to disable the nvidia GPU in the BIOS. Has anyone gotten any idea how to disable it using DSDT.aml? Or could I enable it somehow to get it to work? I would prefer that. If I boot with -x -v GraphicsEnabler=No I can boot into X. If I boot with -v GraphicsEnabler=No it then hangs on "NTFS volume name...". I tried deleting the nvidia KEXT but now it wont boot any further anyway. I haven't tried deleting the Intel ones, presumably I need those.
10. Looks like I wont be getting this till September as out of stock in the UK. Any luck with the onboard nvidia graphics?
11. Your making great progress! I'm still waiting for mine to come
12. Picking this ultrabook up tomorrow. Have you made any further progress? e.g. does Wireless work? What about the USB->Ethernet adapter provided? HDMI/mini-VGA? nvidia 620m?
13. I have installed MAC OS (10.6) retail and updated to 10.6.6. I have used ##### to install Kabyl ATI bootloader and I am in 64-bit mode with GraphicsEnabler=Yes. My Radeon 5670 is made by Saphire (1xDVI, 1xHDMI, 1xDisplayPort). Vendor - 0x1002, Device ID 0x68D8. I am booting just fine with the monitor connected to the DVI port. I have tried a DisplayPort->DVI adapter (made by Sapphire - active single link DVI) and it boots on that screen. The problem is while the OS seems to detect the other monitor (both displays show up in Screen perferences) nothing is output on the second monitor and my second monitor turns itself off. The DisplayPort adapter is the active type (the new cheap one that does Single DVI link upto 1080p). I have tried various other framebuffers with AtiConfig=Vervet, Uakari, Zonalis etc. but the end result is usually the same. Detected, but nothing output on the second monitor? When the system boots (the MAC logo) outputs both displays, but as soon as the main dashboard comes on, only 1 display is output. I have also tried the HDMI->DVI adapater that came with the card, and both screens get output but mirrored (it only suggests 1 display is connected). I would post in the relevant thread, but it wont allow me as I am a noob
14. 10.6.5 Released

Updating to 10.6.5 stopped my USB working (including keyboard and mouse). Fix is to use 10.6.4 kexts it seems.
15. Is there anyway to boot using a 10.6 kernel? Because my mouse/keyb don't work to apply these fixes!! (besides a fresh install)
