  1. Upgrade graphic card for vaio laptop

Hi foxes, I have vaio laptop with the {censored} Radeon HD Mobility 3470, so tied on finding how to get QE/CI working. I'm thinking about upgrading graphic card to the one that is originally supported by Mac OSX. (working without neither injection nor next) Is there anybody has upgraded graphic card for laptop? Could anybody tell me what ATI card originally supported by Mac OSX? I think Radeon 3470s' owner (including me) should donate 100$ (same as buying new card) to a hero who takes QE/CI to us. It seems to be impossible. 4 year passed but no one found solution for Radeon 3470.

I have the same card ATI 3470, just got full resolution 1600x900 but no QE/CI. If you need such a test, I can help you.

  4. Please help me to take back 1600x900 resolution! I have Mobility Radeon HD 3470, and by installing attached RadeonHD.kext I can adjust screen resolution to 1600x900 without any problem in Snow Leopard 10.6.7. But after updating to 10.6.8 (using combo update) I get gray screen. Its stuck just before going to desktop GUI. Boot with -v does not show any error. If I remove RadeonHD.kext it boots normally. Could anyone tell me what has been changed in 10.6.8 that effect to ATI card? RadeonHD.kext.zip
