    GA-P35-DS3R V1.0 No Sleep (10.6.1)

Thanks for your reply, I still haven't figure out the exact reason. I have done the DSDT patching with Audio hack, BIOS reset fix. But I still decided to use VoodooHDA.kext by removing AppleHDA.kext. PS, I think you should use either dsmos.kext or fakesmc.kext, not both...

    GA-P35-DS3R V1.0 No Sleep (10.6.1)

Anybody has any similar problem with same mb?
  3. I have done my installation with 10.6 and upgrade to 10.6.1. Everything works fine for my GA-P35-DS3R, except sleep. I can sleep and wake up w/o any problem in 10.5.7. Kexts added: Dsmos.kext Nullpowermanagment.kext Openhaltrestart.kext Sleepenabler.kext VoodooHDA.kext AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext (I am using IDE mode not AHCI mode, because of less booting time) I tried to check the "Start up automatically after power failure" in the Energy saver options, still no sleeping. Just monitor went black, fan and harddrive, and mouse, keyboard still connected.

Haha, many thanks and will give it a try...
  5. I haven't start updating my P5N-E SLI. still with 10.5.7. Still waiting for 64bit AppleNForceATA.kext. But I am running 10.6 on a new rig (GA-P35-DS3R), works like a charm...

  8. Just a question, I have an older MB P35-DS3R, I was trying to put my sata drive to native IDE instead of AHCI mode, but end it up booting slowly in OS X. Because if I use AHCI, BIOS booting time will be longer... Is there a special kext I need to patch for ICH9R?
  9. Don't cry first. Use search

  13. Recently when I tried to install and run SL 10A190. I just happened to notice that in SL .... NTFS driver 3.0 [Flag: R/W] .... But in Leopard 10.5.x, it is like this: .... NTFS driver 2.0 [Flag: R/O] .... Guess later on in new B/C, you can have NTFS partition, not just FAT32 only...
