  1. Try this: Remove /System/Library/Extensions/AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext Also see: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...2056&st=140
  2. Oh my gosh. This bug has been driving me crazy for a while! In addition to just "mouse lag", it's really complete system display lag. As I've been using my hackintosh with Plex as a media center, having my movies/tv shows stutter has been detrimental. I'm also running 10.6.4 on an EX58 UD5 and a Geforece GTX 260. Just applied the fix, now to reboot. Thanks All!
  3. I had the audio and ethernet kexts installed in /Extra. I moved them to S/L/E without a change. After that I went for the Crusair method, using his DSDT - Realtek in S/L/E and just fakesmc in /Extra. Everything worked, except audio. After that I tried adding HDAEnabler and LegacyHDA back into /Extra - still nothing. I'm sure I'll get this, just have to fiddle around some more.
  4. I ran the 10.6.4 update - mostly flawlessly. I deleted my "Stored_Kexts" to replace with the ones in the new Hackinstaller, then updated boot caches. Network and Sound did not work after that, but I replaced RealtekR1000SL.kext with AppleRTL8169Ethernet.kext from another installer and network is fine. I'm still not sure why I'm having no luck with audio. I'm using the GA-X58A-UD5 motherboard. The only audio that worked for me on 10.6.3 VoodooHDA - and even then I had no digital SPDIF, which I really need. Are most people just using the Hackinstaller's LegacyHDA/HDAEnabler with a stock AppleHDA?
  5. Okay, I'm trying this install with the same motherboard, and an EVGA GTX 260 896MB graphics card When I tried the preboot CD, as soon the SL Install GUI was to come up, my display turned off. So, this time I installed Kalyway on one drive, and used it to put SL on another and followed through the script, using the PC-EFI bootloader. However, at this point I can't seem to make the system boot into SL, it will only boot to Leopard/Kalyway. I've changed the Startup Disk in Leopard to no avail.
  6. Dell Inspiron Mini 9 ?

Great community and excellent progress. I am just about to buy my Dell Mini 9. I see that a lot of people have upgraded to 2GB ram. I assume that 200-pin 533mhz DDR is correct, such as this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820148060 Is 2GB the maximum supported ram? And how fast is this little guy? Is it possible to play 720P videos in VLC under OS X? (Obviously they'd be down-scaled in fullscreen) Thanks everyone
