1. Well i'm currently running the 10.6.5 update now, so should I even bother getting those drivers? System pref. nVidia GeForce GTX 275: Chipset Model: nVidia GeForce GTX 275 Type: GPU Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 1024 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x05e6 Revision ID: 0x00a1 ROM Revision: 0x
2. Hey guys, just wanted to know if these drivers on the nvidia site will work with my gtx 275?
Quadro Mac OS X Driver Release 256
Version: 256.00.05a23 Release Date: 2010.09.09 Operating System: Mac OS Language: English (U.S.) File Size: 31.9 MB New in Release 256.00.05a23: This driver update is for Mac Pro (Mid 2010) only, whose owners would like to use NVIDIA Quadro FX 4800 for Mac or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 for Mac video cards. It’s an improved driver with more bug fixes than the driver that is included with the Mac Pro (Mid 2010) system.
3. Hello! I seem to be having the same issue, I have an nforce chipset (used aitkos s3 v2 install). I downloaded the AppleNForceATA kext provided here and its the same one that was provided in the install cd ? Although AppleNForceATA kext is placed in the 'Extensions' Folder, its placed in the hidden 'Extra'/'Extensions' Folder. Also, there is jmicronata.kext in the 'system'/libary/extension folder. Should that be there? Since I dont have that chipset?
4. Hey guys, My OSX86 always crashes with more then 2 gig of ram. How i know this? When I force a recheck on a big torrent file thats more then 2 gig in size it crashes massive kernal error. When I take out the 4 gig of ram force a recheck is passes with ease. Troubleshooted this scenario a few time over and over and it didnt crash with the 2 gig of ram. I even used the maxmem=4094 command and it still crashed. Does anyone have ideas? P.S I bought a new CD-ROM, before I had a PATA one now its SATA. It detects the sata cd rom but doesnt burn. What kext do I need to install? Sys Info: atikos s3 (10.6.3) Q9300 Quad 2.5ghz 4GIGS Ram (now 2 for stability) nvidia gtx 275 asus p5nd mobo

iAktos S3 V2 on HP pav DV3

That is snow leopard. I get the SystemShutdown False to but still works. I've installed that version but I always need to use the -v arch=i386 command to boot. Any ideas on how to boot auto without using that command.
6. Knock on wood! I've managed to get everything working fine, on the aitikos s3 (10.6.3). Before the installation I had to use -v arch=i386 for an install and take out my other 2 gig of ram (put it back in when it installed) or i would get a kernal error. The system info is reading that I have a GTX 275 and my sata HDD but doesnt read my nforce network. "About this Mac" says I have an Intel XEON although I don't its just a standard quad core 9300. The small problem is that always before boot, need to put in -v arch=i386 or I will get a kernal error and it wont boot. Is there a batch I can use? or can I edit any files that can automatically do this? And how can I properly test the system to know if its stable. Thank you all
7. Ok, I have installed the MAC osx via the iatkos s3 install cd. Everything went very smooth ( accept when I used the guid partition, got a huge errot, fixed with mbr partition). Install went without a hickup, rebooted went to a Apple silver screen, loading sign comes up but after a minute the halt or stop sign came up. Used the nforce SATA driver on the cd, graphics enabler, NVIDIA efistring dvi/dvi. All the patches I left ticked, I was told strongly not to untick them (especially the extras). Is there a command I'm supposed to put before I boot into the MAC OS? Drivers? Specs Quad core 9300 Asus p5nd mobo 4 gig ram 80 gig SATA drive IDE cd Rom Gtx 275 NVIDIA.. Thank you for your time.

Loading halts on apple install screen?

Ok I've managed to successfully install the MAC osx 10.6.3 via an install cd iatkos s3 (July build). Used the cam rc4 loader with nforce SATA driver ticked. Graphics enabled, ticked efi string for the vga graphics dvi option. Voodoo for sound and ticked an option for CPU which stated it was the most common used. Installed fine on the mbr partition, successful etc. Restarted loaded the efi studuo, tryed to boot, loading symbol comes up with a "stop now" sign or a halt sign just on the Apple logo. Any ideas? Thank you
9. Hey everyone. I'm pretty much new to the MAC scene but I'm very pc literate. I have an image of 10.6.3 of snow. I've tried using #####,efi (latest), and the nforce which was stated in another topic. I do everything right In the BIOS as the nforce 750i pdf manual says. When I put the official MAC osx install cd in, press enter it goes to a white/silver screen with a Apple symbol. Then a loading sign comes up ( spins in circle) for about 1 min. Then a halt sign appears ( circle sign with a line going diagonally down). Small sign just over the Apple sign. No cd loading on the dvd drive, nothing. System specs IDE dvd drive Core 2 quad 9300 Asus p5nd nforce mobo 80 gig SATA drive (test drive) Inno3d gtx 275 4 gig ram ThAnks for reading , hope I can get this sorted.
