  1. So far, it looks like not. But tried once only, connected to tv with movie. Will test again tomorrow! And web drivers work surprisingly well, screen switching, mirroring with TV and other monitors all instantly proper resolutions! Also, I should mention that all works with CMS enabled in BIOS, legacy OS, all looks stable. The only small thing is, the computer does not turn off with Shut Down command, looks more like a hibernate, can wake it up with a click of a mouse!
  2. Hello! I have just made a new Hackintosh build with Sierra 10.12.6 and all works except audio. Have followed your posts here, because my mobo also has Creative chip, and I think I might have missed something. I've put AppleALC and lilu kexts in efi/clover/kexts/other, as per your instructions, Codeccommander into S/L/E and at first there was nothing shown in audio devices. After that, used clover to set HDAS to HDEF, which got me one output, but NO devices. Also I tried AZAL to HDEF, nothing happened! So this is how it looks now, also tried changing audio id: Intel High Definition Audio: Audio ID: 4 Line Output: Connection: 1/8-Inch Jack Line Output: Connection: 1/8-Inch Jack My mobo is Gigabyte ga-z170x gaming 7 and cpu i7 6700k GPU is Nvidia msi GTX 1060, working fine and with AGDpfix patch. What's missing here? Thanks, Toni Oops, looks like I've fixed the issue, had also installed voodooHDA into L/E, which obviously blocked other kexts! Upon removal, all seems to work! 3. True; just found out, OS X does not support Optimus technology, so no go, at least for now! As for Wifi, i'll probably go with a usb wlan thingy...
  4. Right, should mention this also; my boot every once in a while (but quite often!) KPs with this: And after reboot, it usually goes ok! Ok, thanks Artur-pt! I guess there's no way then… Will concentrate on other things, such as bluetooth and Geforce! This laptop has two Graphics cards supposedly, Intel and Geforce GT 750M, see if i can make it work!
  5. I see. So i guess, using DSDT editor and inserting same id as in patched kext? Or something else? Ok, will build USB with these, but i will firstly concentrate on fixing wireless in Mav, i guess i'll need it anyway in Yosemite too! Thanks!
  6. Update; for Atheros wifi, i tried patching the AirportAtheros40.kext's plist with device id found in DPCIManager, which is “168c 0032” as it shows. No change and in misc tab, boot log gave these out, suspect it regards this info: first 0:100 0:000 PCI (00|03:00.00) : 168C 0032 class=028000 next 8:411 0:000 Found Airport Atheros at 0x1C0002, 0x0, DeviceID=0x0032 Now i am not an expert, but my guess is 0x0 probably means no connection? And for Yosemite install, should i configure clover to disable audio drivers in boot *HDA*?
  7. Oh, looks like a tough on with this Atheros, as seen on forums… Anyway, here are two pics from Yosemite install boot from USB, with Clover and verbose mode! Here was the first stop, for about a minute... And here it eventually freezes, after a beach ball! Truth is, i use this configuration to boot into mavericks, and had made a lot of edits of plists for Clover to actually boot! I have a DSDT also, in clover efi partition too… Seems to be an audio issue?? And here, boot in safe mode: Stops here, about a minute into install.
  8. Ok, thanks for a fast reply! The DPCIManager says, as i suspected it's a Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless Net adapter! Tried some Atheros kexts, but am not sure if they were for this specific one! I'll post a pic of screen, just have to make another USB, in the meantime i also tried olarila's Yosemite installer, same result… Maybe i should not boot in UEFI? Be back soon!
  9. Hi everyone! After about 10 days of trial and error, i successfully created dual boot with mac and win 8 on laptop asus N750jv, all on one HDD, all UEFI mode! 1. Basically everything functions (after trying a lot of different kexts), except for WIFI and BlueTooth. Can someone help with that? I tried probably all kexts and patches that i found on forums (not to mention, i was banned from t***macx86 forum, on account of alleged "piracy(!)", just because i mentioned N*resh! (and that's absolutely beyond me…) Well, anyway WIFI is most important, if anyone can lend a hand here! 2. Other things i tried, was making a Yosemite boot with usb stick, which i made with disk maker x, and because i already have EFI configured, it boots from Clover in UEFI mode, but install always gets stuck spmewhere before half way with apple logo in the middle and a spinning beach ball... Why i am trying a yosemite install (on another partition), because i hope that kexts for WIFI Yosemite work, at least that is what i read in forums! So please anyone? I am using latest Clover! Thanks, Toni
  10. Ok... Guess, I'll have to fix this myself! Like always...
  11. Ok, i know this thread is quite old, but my hackintosh is running great because of this guide, thanks again Kup! But recently, i stumbled upon a strange problem, which is called iLok2! (i know, i know... but i need it, my machine is built specifically for music production!) The weird thing is, EVERYTHING, including USB's works great. Only when i try to initialize plugin, which runs on a host software (Logic), and requires an iLok2, i have to wait somewhere between 5-10 minutes before i can work again, when it should be initialized not more than in about 1-3 seconds (slowest)! I already tested and ruled out iLok2 itself, on win7 (reaper) it works normally fast and on my MacBook (Logic) also! I am still running SL 10.6.8 Please, help anyone! I cannot work, until i sort this out! Toni
  12. Ok, here's a portion of UHC from my DSDT: Device (UHC1) { Name (_ADR, 0x001D0000) Name (_PRW, Package (0x02) { 0x03, 0x04 }) Name (_S3D, 0x02) OperationRegion (BAR0, PCI_Config, 0xC4, One) Field (BAR0, ByteAcc, NoLock, Preserve) { USBW, 2, Offset (0x01) } Method (_PSW, 1, NotSerialized) { Multiply (0x03, Arg0, USBW) } Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x0F) { "device-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x34, 0x3A, 0x00, 0x00 }, "AAPL,clock-id", Buffer (One) { 0x0A }, "built-in", Buffer (One) { 0x00 }, "device_type", Buffer (0x05) { "UHC1" }, "AAPL,current-available", 0x04B0, "AAPL,current-extra", 0x02BC, "AAPL,current-in-sleep", 0x03E8, Buffer (One) { 0x00 } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } } ...and so forth. What is missing/wrong here?
  13. I am running 10.6.8, obviously, the iTunes 11 installed itself somehow... Works GREAT! APART FROM MY ILOK!
  14. Ok, i don't have time toexplain much, the system is running about two years now with no problems! But i obviously need help with USB and iLOK2, i need it because of some apps that run only there! The thing is, USB's all work ok, only with iLOK2 i have to wait for about 10 minutes for plugin to initialise (in Logic), also have MacBook, with older Lion 10.5.8 i think, there it works fast as it should! Also have dualboot in win 7, where it also works fast! But all my important projects are on this build, and i really don't want to start moving files to another systems! So far i tried to install/uninstall several kexts, but all i got was one time key and mouse not working, and the other unresponsive USB's! All fixed now, except damn iLok2 and waiting times! This is how it looks in profiler: And i really need this fixed fast, so please anyone! Even if i have to go DSDT!
  15. It updates without a problem online to 10.6.5, here:
