Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

I just ran the combo update over 10.11.4 and everything seems to work fine.

No graphics / USB / Audio after wake

I'm not so sure about that. My Radeon HD 7850 is Pitcairn and it worked fine in Mavericks and Yosemite but I'm getting the same problem while waking from sleep on El Cap.

Clover 3142 upgrade breaks a working 3021 configuration

I'm not sure what might have caused your boot error. Clover 3142 worked fine on my hackintosh, but I don't think the over-released legacy external boost assertions are a hackintosh bug, because I get a ton of those on my actual MacBook Air too.

    ATHR: unknown locale: 21

The "ATHR: unknown locale: 21" isn't the issue. It's just a warning because OS X doesn't know what region your wifi card is from. Purely cosmetic. Based on that line about the bluetooth, it seems like it's stalling when trying to load graphics kexts. Someone else here might have a solution for that problem, but to fix the "ATHR..." error once you have everything booting properly, if you use Clover you can add the following within "KextsToPatch" in config.plist: <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>Atheros Locale Fix</string> <key>Find</key> <data> g/s3 </data> <key>Name</key> <string>AirPortAtheros40</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> g/sh </data> </dict> Credit goes to "pista7" at the website-which-must-not-be-named for coming up with the fix.

    ...a little assist please

Hi! I hope this helps! It's pulled from OS X 10.10.1 Edit: File is too big to upload here. I will upload it elsewhere and edit this with a link. Edit 2: Here is the link!

    AMD DMG Development

I'm not exactly sure what any of this means, but I guess if it can help the AMD community, I'll give it a shot. Attached are the IOReg and DSDT for the ASUS M4A77TD as per the directions in the links provided. M4A77TD_Files.zip

Oh really? I'm on 10.9.0 and I still have the problem. Weird.

USBLegacyOff=Yes npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=No My kernel is taken from Sinetek's GitHub repo compiled by Gordio from here.

    unable to handle PNGs

Sorry, I don't have a solution. Just wanted to confirm that I have the same issue on the latest Sinetek kernel. I think it's a problem that affects the pre-Bulldozer CPUs which don't support some of the newer instruction sets. I don't think there's much that can be done, unless one of our brilliant kernel devs can figure it out. One thing that I think helped the issue a little was using Chameleon Wizard to update to the lastest version of the Chameleon bootloader. I don't know why that would make a difference, but before I had the version from myHack and it wouldn't let me save large screenshots (like my entire desktop). After updating the bootloader, I can now reliably take a screenshot of my whole desktop.
  10. Unfortunately I don't think so for XCode 5.1. If you can get your hands on XCode 5.0.2, the bundled command line tools from there seems to be working perfectly fine for me. Though to be honest, my use for LLVM/Clang is limited to simple university projects and some Python stuff, so YMMV.
  11. I think it's the same version Never mind, I had the newer build. I tried downgrading to 5.1 beta 5 but it still didn't work. Downgrading to 5.0.2 and using its command line tools finally worked for me. Still, I'm not sure why the newer version would cause a segmentation fault...
  12. Hi spakk, I have version 5.1 (5B130a) which I downloaded directly from the app store. I'm not sure if it's a beta version or not. It's the most up-to-date one in the app store I think. Should I use an older version?
  13. Is anyone else having difficulties with cc/clang? I was trying to install the python package "py-bcrypt" using pip, but it causes a segfault, as does anything else that I try to install that needs to compile. Would this be kernel related, perhaps due to the SSSE3 emulation? It works fine on my Macbook Air. I've tried it with xnu-2422.1.72_by_bronya_sinetek_anv_rc7 as well as with savvamitrofanov:xnu-master and they both have the same issue. Here's what I get: Stack dump: 0. I know this isn't the help forum, but I thought perhaps I could get some insight into whether or not this is a kernel issue, since it seems like it might be.

    Application Support [AMD]

Hi does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? It happens when trying to install the "py-bcrypt" package using "pip install py-bcrypt". Looks to be a kernel problem causing a segfault, but I don't know any C, and I barely know assembly, so I have no idea what it means. Running pass 'X86 DAG->DAG Instruction Selection' on function '@encode_base64' clang: error: unable to execute command: Segmentation fault: 11 clang: error: clang frontend command failed due to signal (use -v to see invocation) Any ideas? It works on my actual Macbook Air, so I don't think it's strictly a LLVM bug. I don't actually remember what kernel I'm using but with the "uname -a" command I get: Darwin mihirs-mac-pro 13.0.0 Darwin Kernel Version 13.0.0: вторник, 14 января 2014 г. 20:54:33 (OMST); savvamitrofanov:xnu-master/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64 Edit: I just tried it with the "xnu-2422.1.72_by_bronya_sinetek_anv_rc7" kernel and it has the same issue, so it's not just specific to the kernel I listed above. Perhaps a general bug with the SSSE3 emulation required for non-FX CPUs? EDIT 2: Fixed it by completely removing XCode 5.1 and Command Line Tools, then downgrading to XCode 5.0.2 and using its Command Line Tools. Now everything works fine, except Homebrew complains that command line tools is missing, but it still compiles things without any problems.

[AMD] 10.7.3 Guide - Experimental Only

That's the kernel I was using. I couldn't get 64bit apps working either, but I have a Phenom II CPU. Have you tried the sysenter traps patch mentioned in the post?
