  1. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Thank you very much for the Patch. It has solved some problems. I now have nativePM, Restart is working out of the box, Wifi now comes on but can't find networks. Graphics are still problematic when using the vanilla kext, The screen flashes blue then goes blank on restart and if I try to adjust the volume, I can hear some sound which means that Lion is on. Sorry for being such a n00b but would you mind telling me what you are using to compile the dsdt? It gives me compile errors when I try to use DSDTSE. If I could get it to compile , I could try to add some edits like this one. and see if it helps. My original intel HD3000 device id was 0x0116 but I see that it has changed to 0x0126 after the dsdt patch, could this help? Ooh and buy the way, this laptop is very similar to the Probook 4530s, The only difference I see is in screen size, 17" vs 15". I even used their guide to get it to boot and install lion. I have been try to make this laptop work for the last 4 days and I simple can't give up! Your assistance is greatly appreciated. EDIT: Forgot to mention sleep seems to work with the blank screen. Thanks again.

I also can't seem to get HD3000 to work with QE/CI in Lion and native resolution. Audio is working with VoodooHDA, trackpad and Keyboard are working using ApplePCIPS2Nub and ApplePS2Controller. Wifi and Ethernet are not working Here are my specs: * Intel® Core™ i5-2410M (2.30 GHz, 3 MB L3 cache) * Graphics: ATi 4690m and Intel HD3000 (Switchable) * Sound: Intel High Definition Audio * Wifi:Atheros AR5B195 * Ethernet: RTL 8188 * Mouse/TrackPad; Synaptic PS2 * Keyboard : PS2 dsdt_HP_Probook_4730s_Vanilla.aml.zip Thanx for your time.
  3. ATI Radeon HD4350 PCIe

i really appreciate your work and dedication ANARCHiNTOSH...I did try out the delta update but it didnt go so well with my rig so i reverted back to 10.6.4...i have a sapphire 4350 1gb card.I get KPs but didn't have time to tinker with the kext and plists...when i get time i'll give the full update another run and see how it goes.Cheers.
  4. ATI Radeon HD4350 PCIe

Hey guys ,OSX 10.6.5 is came out today....download it and let the hacking move on.Am really hoping it will improve on the graphics for this dumb card.
  5. Thanx guys for these drivers - audigy 2 zs. Just set up my first hackingtosh(leopard) a few months ago and these drivers have worked great . just switched to sl 10.6.4 32bit and everything works great. I can't imagine the amount of work and dedication that went into making this possible. thanx again.
  6. upgrading to 10.6.4 (and doesn't boot)

boot with -v to view the offending kext.then try booting in safe mode, use -x and see if it boots up.
  7. upgrading to 10.6.4 (and doesn't boot)

"juanml82" Try bootiing with -f switch. It should bypass the kext cache. Also consider including the NullCPUManagement.kext. It Should negate the need for deleting AppleIntelCPUPowermanagement.kext. boot in verbose mode to view the error and post it here. Press -v at boot.
