    nVidia GeForce 210 1gb DDR3

Hello, I am running 10.7 on g41m-es2l I bought a nVidia GeForce 210 1gb DDR3 to replace a nVidia Geforce 7300 256 because the 7300 wasnt playing youtube and wouldnt work with Q/E. This new card is a f**king problem, too. I read on wiki HCL list that my exact card should work with graphicsenabler=no and the efistring. Right now my graphicsenabler is =yes. How do I edit the goddamn .plist?? everytime I try to change =yes to =no and paste the custom efi string it gives me some {censored} that I dont have permission and makes a .txt file. WTF. When i find the .plist in spotlight its locked. I looked on the forums for like 2 hours trying to figure out how to F**king fix this sh*t and I havent had any success. Can SOMEONE please tell me how to edit the org.chameleon.boot.plist??? this is so frustrating
  3. Hey I just finished my hackintosh tonight and the screen resolution is stuck at 1024 by 786... the screen is an acer x193w... I'm not sure why I cant adjust the resolution. Could this have to be with me using onboard graphics? im using onboard graphics on a ga-g41m-es2l mobo. thanks
  4. Hey yall I was just wondering what the difference is between the BIOS rev 1.0 and BIOS rev 1.1-1.3 on the ga-g41m-es2l. Online it says that the BIOS 1.0 works from f1-f8 but BIOS 1.1-1.3 only work from f6-f8. What the hell does this mean? Would I want to downgrade or upgrade my BIOS (if possible)? I plan on using the kakewalk installer method with retail snow leopard.

    *SELL* Hack Pro ($400)

Hey are you still selling it? I'm interested. Can you email me pics? I'm willing to pay $400, I already have a hackintosh hardware list that totals for $380 w/ no case or PSU, but it has much better specs (intel core 2 quad, 4g ram). So I would buy this to save the hassle of building for myself. If you want to see my build list, look under my posts. THanks.

    Hackintosh Hardware List (sub-$500)

Thanks for the tips, but the main trouble I am having with configuring a hackintosh is finding a motherboard that requires few kernel extensions AND supports a lower end i3 or core 2 duo CPU! Can anyone recommend a MOBO that satisfies?
  9. Hey yall! I am planning on building a budget hackintosh, would like to keep it below $500, Max is $600. I have been searching many hardware lists on the internet but find that A) the build list it too expensive or the list is outdated and I can't find the hardware online. Can ANYONE post a COMPLETE hardware list for a sub $500 hackintosh? I was thinking a intel core i3 or core 2 duo for the processor. ALL help is appreciated

    cheapest hackintosh build list?

I just hackintoshed my dell mini 10v and its running 10.6.2 flawlessly (I am posting this on it). I love it. But, the only problem is that the keyboard is a little small and it's only a single core with 1 gb of ram (I plan to upgrade to 2gb soon-ish). Anyways, here are the links to the cheap, new hackintosh build list on newegg (it only costs $230 shipped!!). I just want to make sure its all compatible (I'm fairly sure it is). here is the lsit: barebones pc - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16856119012 Harddrive - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16822136073 ram - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820134187 by the way I plan to install using a retail disk of snow leopard - this would work, right? thanks in advance!
