  1. I have pretty much decided my build and it is almost same as Tony's P55 build. MB: GA-P55M-UD4 GPU: Gigabyte 9800GT Silent RAM: Corsair 2x2Gb 1600MHz DDR3 Power: Chieftec 600W Super Series Case: Fractal Design Define R2 CPU Cooler: Mugen 2 DVD Drive: Sony Optiarc So the final question is about CPU: At the place where I'm going to order the hardware they have some kind of discount that i5 750 2.66GHz and i5 760 2.8GHz have the same price. So of course the 2.8GHz is more powerful but are they both evenly stable and easy to configure on Hackintosh? Thanks.
  2. I'm planning to build my first Hackintosh for audio use (and gaming). Budget for this project is around 800€ that is about 1100$. MB: GA-P55M-UD4 CPU: i5 750 2.66GHz GPU: Gigabyte 9800GT 1GB Silent RAM: Corsair 2x2GB DDR3 1600MHz So the build is still missing the case, DVD drive, HDD (and maybe even small SSD). I would like to know if the parts are compatible with Hackintosh and also hear some suggestions for the other hardware. And also almost forgot to mention that because this is for audio I'd really like to have quite silent build. Thanks.
