  1. [Sell] Dell Mini 10 OS X 10.6

I'm selling my Dell Mini 10, running OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. It's only been lightly used for the year or so I've owned it. The lid has some scratches consistent with regular use, but the screen, keyboard, etc. are in perfect condition. Specs are as follows: Intel Atom 1.6ghz 160gb hard drive 1gb memory Everything works under OS X, wireless, screen brightness, function keys, etc. function perfectly. The battery still holds a full charge - it only has 70 cycles on it. I can ship within the US and Canada, potentially to Europe if you're willing to pay the shipping charges. Within the US I will ship for free. I prefer PayPal but will consider money orders, checks, etc. I'm looking for $175 or best offer.
  2. [WTB] Dell Netbook

Looking for a Dell netbook capable of running OS X - probably the Mini 10v. Please post specs, and the price + shipping.
  3. What blogs do you read?

    engadget techcrunch tuaw smashingmagazine.com
  4. Web hosting - cheap and simple

For smaller websites, godaddy is just fine. What type of site are you making? There's many high quality free options out there - such as google sites or wordpress.com, depending on what type of content you have. Whatever you do, make sure you go with a host that either comes with a recommendation from someone you trust, or is a well known name in the industry (MT, godaddy, yahoo, etc.) - there's lots and lots of low-quality or downright fraudulent hosts out there.
  5. Take One, Leave One

    BMW Safari or Chrome?
  6. G5 Powermac 1.8ghz

It's a single CPU.. I could possibly part it out that way (though I'd prefer not to), how much would you be offering?
  7. G5 Powermac 1.8ghz

Selling my 1.8ghz G5 Powermac, it has 1.5gb RAM and a 500gb hard drive. Leopard installed. I'm willing to accept pretty much any reasonable offer, PM me.
  8. Here's the specs: ASUS K8U-X 754 ULi M1689 ATX AMD Motherboard ASUS V9520-X/TD/64 GeForce FX 5200 AMD Sempron 64 2600+ I can't seem to find this board in the HCL, though there are similar ones. Does anyone have experience with this setup?
  9. Buying Powermac G5 Memory

I'm looking for some memory for my Powermac G5 - it takes pc3200. I prefer to buy in pairs, weather it be 2x256mb, 2x512mb, or 2x1gb - doesn't matter. I'll pay any reasonable price (e.g. less than new memory, if it's used; if it's new, i'll pay market price). Figured I'd post here before I go to newegg.
  10. I have a computer with an Intel D865PERLL motherboard, and a Pentium 4 processor; will this work with OS X ? All of my other components are on the HCL, so it's just the motherboard I'm worried about
  11. Powerbook 12" G4 Keyboard

    Found one, thanks guys
  12. Powerbook 12" G4 Keyboard

I'm looking for a keyboard for my 12" Powerbook G4 - the connector on the end fell off, and therefore I can no longer connect the keyboard to my powerbook. I'm willing to pay a reasonable price for the keyboard; I see them going on some sites for $130+, and my Powerbook isn't my main system anymore, so I can't quite justify that type of expense. If anyone's got a powerbook they're looking to part out, I'd also be interested in a battery.
  13. I'm building a hackintosh on a budget; it'll only be used occasionally - when I need Mac-only apps. I'm trying to keep the whole thing at around $300 or under. I've found the following components on various threads on this forum, and I'm pretty much ready to buy them. I'm relatively experienced at building systems, but not at building them for OS X. You'll notice there's no hard drive or DVD/CD drive listed; I have those already, they're both IDE; I've read of some SATA hard drive incompatibilities on here. Many components were found on Sarahbau's 'Hackintosh Deal of the Day site', at http://sarahbau.webhop.org/hackintosh/hack_prices.html (it's not working as I post this, though it was up yesterday). Any input on these components would be much appreciated. - Rosewill R318-P-BK Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail Item #: N82E16811147076 $22.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811147076 -- Intel Dual-Core E2160 Allendale 1.8GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80557E2160 - Retail Item #: N82E16819116036 $91.00 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16819116036 -- WINTEC AMPO 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) $34.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820161669 -- GIGABYTE GA-945GZM-S2 LGA 775 Intel 945GZ Micro ATX Intel Motherboard Item #: N82E16813128033 $52.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813128033 -- MSI NX7300LE-TD128EH GeForce 7300LE 128MB GDDR2 PCI Express x16 Video Card Item #: N82E16814127273 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814127273 --
  14. Broadcom 4311

Oh, thank you.. I'll be sure to install that sound driver as soon as I get a chance, and watch that page - let me know if you have any luck.
