    VoodooPowerAcpi 1.2.5 for 10.6.x

Hi, this might be a stupid question, but how do I check if P-state changing is actually happening? Can I trust CPU-X for this? Because if I can, then nothing is changing. With Voodoopowermini I did see changes in CPU-x.

Ned help: No Sleep in SL 10.6.2

I finally got it working! Steps I took: Resetting CMOS: solved my restart after shutdown problem Setting all usb-jumpers to +5vsb: wake with usb-keyboard Editing DSDT: Devices USBE and EUSB like following: Device (USBE) { Name (_ADR, 0x001A0007) Method (_PRW, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (GPRW (0x0D, 0x04)) } Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x04) { "AAPL,clock-id", Buffer (One) { 0x01 }, "device-type", Buffer (0x05) { "EHCI" } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } } Next on the list: getting p-states and c-states to work properly.

Going to buy a Powerbook G4

Powerbook is still very good, but only just.. if you can get it really cheap it could be a good deal, but please keep in mind that (as far as I know) apple will ditch ppc support in SnowLeo.. so to be future-proof a intel-mac is the way to go... maybe a second-hand macbook pro? you'll pay $200/$300 more but I would say it's worth it.
  8. 12" powerbook is great. I don't quite get the previous comment. Maybe he's referring to the fact that support for PPC and for the PB's in general is going to disappear in two years time.. however right now you'll have a great machine. It is nowhere near as fast as a C2D, but if you're not doing any haevy computing you'll be fine.. very fine. dvd's, divx, music, surfing etc. is no problem for my 1.33ghz PB. Battery life 2 to 3 hours, depending on usage. On the other hand... the EEE pc is also girlfriend material.. cheap and you can borrow it now and then..
  9. Firefox is sooo slow.. really lagging on both my hack and my powerbook..
  10. This probably is some chinese rip-off.. reasons:1. To mush of a break of the current design line apple is following. 2. 8gb ? Since this phone is a chinese fake I think you're right

No problems here, works great, sometimes a little bit of static noise in the soundtrack, but graphics and playability are great..

    Homosexuals

you are right. it matters. I wasn't stating it did not matter, I was stating that in the current timeframe this is how things stand, people ignorantly take offence of certain things. If I have to put a label on that I'd label it as unpreferrable/stupid/ridiculous, people should just respect each other, whatever race, background, religion, sexual preference etc.etc. they may have. But well, right now I am in the same sentence I am pleading tolerance while I am labelling ignorant intolerate people.... always that paradox

    Homosexuals

The example of the cheating father.. It is something other than cheating. It is the fact that this person was led to believe he had to form a family with a woman, surpressing all his sexual preferences. This hurts the homosexual person involved, but also the people around him. I know it is not technically homosexuality itself causing this (by itself, as a separate entity), but the the values of the society the homosexual person lives in. No more time to complete my post, hope you get my drift.
