  2. Can anyone confirm what support is like in Sierra for X99 Is power management/speed step working well? Is there a definitive method for getting speed step working? Presently I'm running a stable rig on El Capitan and wondering if it is worth upgrading. Many thanks

  4. Try and persevere with RampageDev's guide and consider different interpretations on how to implement his instructions. Graphics can be a big obstacle in succeeding with an installation. Have you tried a verbose boot from clover? What are the read outs? Are you using an HDMI or DVI cable? (booting with analogue monitor is very difficult and inconsistent) Have you tried NVIDIA flags/injectors in clover?

  6. I replaced AppleGraphicControl kext from RecoveryHD and screens are running fine now. Albeit back to 5,1 smbios..

  9. I copied and pasted the code (2nd part of maleorder's post above) into my clover config. Managed to boot with smbios 6,1 , but now I'm having graphics problems. 2 monitor setup, 1 with HDMI other with DVI to VGA working fine before. Now HDMI monitor stopped working and DVI to VGA monitor only displaying 1280 resolution. Power management is very good though!!

  12. Using Pike's methods as expounded by Samler and Maleorder. Many thanks! I'm running with SMBIOS 5.1 Speed doesn't drop off when system is idling.. not sure if I've got Pike's freqVectors running correctly
