  1. Besides, 32 bits resolution is acknoledged in system report window.
  2. Isn't it already activated by these lines? <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1680x1050x32</string> I tried to start adding colors=32 but nothing changed...
  3. Hello! I have managed to run 10.8.4 on my old PC. I have a GA-EP45-DS3 motherboard and a GTX 260 graphics card. Here is my org.chameleon.plist : Well, everything seems to be right except that the fonts are not OK (especially visible on the bold ones). They are way too smooth and I feel it's not normal as I have other partitions with 10.6 and 10.7 which don't gave the same result. I tried NVEnabler (which I use on 10.7) but with this I get a scrambled colour screen after boot sequence. Can you give me some piece of advice? Any idea? Thanx!
  4. Chameleon Install 2.1 Rev 1806 for Windows

I have a problem... Since I installed this, Chameleon boots on my Windows partition by default even if I change the parameters in the boot.plist under OSX. Previously, my computer started on Lion by default. Now, I always have to be there at startup in order to force it manually... AND I can't uninstall the windows chameleon... I always get an error message. Can anyone help?
  5. GTX260 s-video out doesn't work

Hello! I had a GeForce 9800 GT 512 running nicely under Snow Leopard and Lion (2 partitions). The only issue was that it was listed as "unknown nVidia card" Unfortunately, it passed out this week. A friend gave me a GTX260. I installed it into the pc and it has been recognised immediately! I have Chameleon 5 (mach kernel), graphics enabler = yes. It is listed correctly and the two dvi ports work (I use dual screen). BUT when I plug a video projector using s-video out, nothing comes out. I have run screen detection, of course. It deactivates my second screen but doesn't recognise the projector. This worked on my old 9800 GT though. The s-video output on the GTX260 card works, I have tested it on Wondows 7 where I can send an image to the projector. Any ideas???
  6. Korg Legacy Analog / Digital VST

Hello! I have the same problem! My ethernet card is en0... What is the trick with os86tools and efistudio?
  7. Incorrect password?

Hello! I installed Lion successfully two weeks ago on a new partition. As I didn't have time to install all softwares, I haven't used it since. (I still worked on SL instead). Yesterday, I wanted to install everything. Of course, I was asked for the admin password but it wasn't accepted. I am quite certain the password I entered was correct as it completely matched the reminder I chose. Anyway, Lion kept telling me it was incorrect... How is that possible? I found another person who had the same problem on the web, but didn't know how to solve it... And I can't boot with Lion DVD to solve this as my dvd drive doesn't appear in Chameleon. Even if I tick the 'rescan' option, it doesn't work... Can anyone help? Thanx!
  8. How to enable AHCI on Dell BIOS?

Hello all! I have some kind of trouble as I would like to install os x on an old Dell D810. I can't find any option that could enable AHCI in the Dell BIOS. However, I have seen that some people have been able to install Leopard on this machine. Any idea about how I should work it out? And do you think I could install Snow Leopard on this machine? Thanks
  9. Ok, it's getting a little bit better... I deleted all the ATIxxxxController kexts and the ATIX2000 kext. I only left the LegacyATI4800 kext. I did what you told me with Lizard. Now I can boot in normal mode without kernel panic. But there my PS2 keyboard is not recognized and I can't use it. As far as the ATI HD4850 is concerned: I have no possibility to change screen resolution or so. I'm stuck in 1280x1024, 32 bit mode (which I forced in Lizard so that it's implemented in the com.apple.boot). Actually, the card is not recognized and no kext is loaded (according to the "about this mac" menu). Ah yes, I also have a dvi monitor on the first slot a second monitor with a dvi2vga adapter on the second.
  10. OK, by starting with -x -v, I enter SL in safe mode. I've done a lot of things, but I still can't get my HD4850 to work. I've deleted ATI4500Controller and 4600 kexts. I've added my device-id in the ATI4800Controller.kext I've run Netkas' QE/CI Exotic cards for 10.63 package (that's my OS version, installed with iATKOS S3). I've added the LegacyATI4800Controller. I've checked that Graphic Enabler is enabled in the com.apple.boot Anyway, I still get a kernel panic concerning the ATIRadeonX2000.kext and when I start in safe mode, it says that there are problems loading the ATI4800Controller.kext MaLd0n, I tried what you suggested with Lizard... It didn't help, and I couldn't even boot in safe mode. And I'm not able to write command lines... unless I'm told what to do ;-) I'm using Chameleon 2 RC4 boot loader. Any ideas??? Thanx in advance.
  11. Hello! I've been trying to install SL since two weeks now... I've used the Hazard 10.6-10.61-10.62 distro as well as the iATKOS S3. I've tried several combinations on install preferences... Each time, it says the OS installed properly but as it reboots I always get a kernel panic. Anyone can help with the choices I have to make for the install? (you understood I'm a newbie) Here's my config (I think it's not incompatible, as I've been reading a lot of stuff): Gigabyte EP45-DS3 Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 Sapphire ATI HD4850 513Mo DDR3 Ethernet: Realtek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum Each time I get error messages, it has something to do with the ATI 4800, ATIRadeonX2000.kext, etc... I'd like at least to enter the OS so that I can do something for the kexts, but I still can't! How should I install? Is it necessary to reinstall from scratch each time or is there any way of replacing some files on the hard disk from some software (or via Windows as I have Win7 on another partition)? Thanx for helping!
