  1. [Guide] [Mavericks & Yosemite] AMD Radeon HD5450

Dr. Hurt I have had success replacing the kexts, I'm using 5450 (Device ID: 0x68e4) but I do not get it to work properly editing the dsdt restoring original kexts Could you please help me to inject fake-id in to my dsdt? Thank you Dr.! DSDT-GA-Z68XP-UD3-F10.aml.zip
  2. great work, i will try it and report here! thank you
  3. please read this: http://pikeralpha.wordpress.com/2013/06/13/kext-requirements-for-os-x-10-9-mavericks/ kextutil -tn /System/Library/Extensions/GenericUSBXHCI.kext Diagnostics for /System/Library/Extensions/GenericUSBXHCI.kext: Code Signing Failure: not code signed /System/Library/Extensions/GenericUSBXHCI.kext appears to be loadable (including linkage for on-disk libraries).
  4. My motherboard GA-Z77-D3H rev 1.1 have intel chipset PCI Device ID: 0x1e31 and Etron PCI Device ID:0x7023 testing GenericUSBXHCI.kext from 1.2.6 to 1.2.7d5 Western Digital MyPassport USB3 2TB works great linking at full speed (5Gb/sec) but need a restart to get it mounted I hope you can fix it thanks you for great work cheers!
  5. DSDT fixes for Gigabyte boards

Hello! I managed a near perfect setup GA-Z68-UD3H-B3 - i7 2600K - Patriot 2x4GB 1600MHz - Sapphire HD 5770 Vapor-X both SL 10.6.8 and Lion 10.7.2 ([url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] + Multibest or Unibest) works great The only thing not working correctly is a MIDI controller INFRASONIC M49. (same controller works fine on my MacBookPro and in other machines) In the GA-Z68-UD3H-B3 external drives, iPod, etc work fine attached to any USB ports At some point the M49 worked for a moment. What makes me suspect some kind of IRQ conflict on DSDT or something I'm using F10 bios ver. and untouched dsdt.aml from Tonymac databse can anybody put me in to a right direciton? thank you!
  6. DSDT fixes for Gigabyte boards

Hola!
  7. sounds logical, and apologies if I write a bit silly, I'm fearless sound engineer and not an experienced programmer. Any way, I'm happy to hear if it's just a minor problem easy to solve
  8. ...may be the problem was a trouble with file permissions during PT instalation, it explain this simple (absurd) solution?, but belive me, this worked in at least 4 cases I tried on SL and Lion too
  9. Hi fellas! I've experienced some KP with the conflictive digidesign.digidal.kext on my system Lion 10.7.2 and PT 9.0.5 Tthis method even may be fix KP on some other rigs made on 10.6.7 systems with PT 9.x.x The working solution for me was: moving digidesign.digidal.kext outside S/L/E for backup repair permissions and rebuild cache (I've made this with kext wizard) restart put digidesign.digidal.kext again into S/L/E again repair permissions and rebuild cache restart Let me know if it work for you My PT audio device is Apogee Duet Firewire. I don't know if this is valid solution for HD2 too Next weekend I will try to build a DAW rig on GA-Q67M-D2H i7 2600 and PT HD2 PCI folowing this tread so, may be need some help thank you all cheers!
  10. dear DefKorns, my mobo: P6X58D-E yes, software update (I think downloading MacOsxUpdCombo10.7.2 works too) NO need to re-run Lionize or Recrendae
  11. Fabio and all fellas, I decided to install the update 10.7.2 At the moment everything is up and running well I am not an experienced programmer, so I use some help with skilled programmers Applications to make some things easy the procedure I used was as follows: 1) Update Chameleon to ver. 2.1svn r1618 (using Chameleon Wizard) from here nice and useful App! 2) Install 10.7.2 (Software Update) First boot success! for those interested, sorting by date, I have noticed in S/L/E that were changed only 4 kexts: IOPCIFamily.kext System.kext IOGraphicsFamily.kext IONDRVSupport.kext and, reappear those horrible icons on internal drives I fixed this issue using [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] 4.0.2 (from Tonymacx86) apliying only IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector 3)Repair permissions and Rebuild system kext caches. (I prefer to use KextWizzard) from here by the way, putting all the kexts in S/L/E and using UseKextCache in org.chameleon.Boot.plist, Lion boot much faster that's all enjoy!... and keep us informed of your experiences
  12. Fabio thank you for quick reply! I've try few combinations of this Bios parameters, but I've not understad exactly how this work could you please clarify? this is from P6X58D-E user manual: C State package limit setting [Auto] This item appears only when you set the Intel® C-STATE Tech item to [Enabled]. We recommend that you set this item to [Auto] for BIOS to automatically detect the C-State mode supported by your CPU. Configuration options: [Auto] [C1] [C3] [C6] C1 Auto Demotion [Enabled] This item appears only when you set the Intel® C-STATE Tech item to [Enabled]. [Enabled] When enabled, CPU will conditionally demote C3/C6/C7 requests to C1 based on uncore auto-demote information. [Disabled] Disables this function C3 Auto Demotion [Enabled] This item appears only when you set the Intel® C-STATE Tech item to [Enabled]. [Enabled] When enabled, CPU will conditionally demote C6/C7 requests to C3 based on uncore auto-demote information. [Disabled] Disables this function.
