do I need to reinstall or is there away to remove the drivers at boot after pressing f8, I know there was a command like /movevideodrivers or something to move them in but is there one to move them out?

Loading screen then white screen + freeze

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. Is it possible to get the drivers and install them during the boot process?

Loading screen then white screen + freeze

Well, didn't get any responses. however I did boot with HT turned off and i'm still getting the white screen after the mac loading screen, I turned on my speakers and the intro music for the video is playing while my screen is white. Video drivers issue? I tried booting in a different resolution, 1600x1200 and 1280x1024 both gave me white screens with music, however the screen was black with white dots and music at 800X600 resolution. if that means anything.

Was adding it in... I have all the graphics drivers available installed, and have the kernel 9.2 sleep. Should I try installing wtih the boot cpus=1? Everything is on the default except I checked the additional video drivers.

  8. Having a problem where my computer reboots after the intstall and then shows the mac logo with the little swirly circle below it. The icon and verything go away like it's going to load but it just sits at a white screen.

    Is my machine SSE2/3

Yeah It's on the same hard drive. However I removed the mac partition now so it's just the windows partition. I am just trying to figure out how to get windows to boot again now. I just installed windows on another hard drive and can access all the files on the drive that isn't booting if that helps any.

I'm not very good with computers, let alone these topics. Also this threat was already solved so who gives a @#%^ no need to be a *@#$ about it. Why don't you go contribute instead of giving me {censored}.

    Is my machine SSE2/3

Figured I might try here... Disk read error! HELP! The install went well, but when I went to restart my computer to dual boot between Kalyway 10.5.2 and XP (Disk says SP2 Pro, But have all updates so not sure if it's updated to SP3) Disk read error occured Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart EeeK! Been reading around and haven't found any solutions. I was stupid and hadn't backed up my data, so I have tons of family photos on there I can't lose. I've tried all the solutions posted around but am going crazy. I tried moving the jumpers between CS and Master, that did nothing. I tried Booting from the windows disk and doing a Chkdsk, everything appears to be great. And I just tried deleting the partition and then doing a Fixmbr after trying to avoid it for days. Nothing seems to be working. I used Gparted to set the XP partition to boot, but it didn't work and then I tried setting it to the mac partition and that did nothing as well (before I deleted the partition). Pulling my hair out Q.Q would love any help. Formatting is not an option.

The biggest problem is, I have an issue that I don't seem to be able to find anywhere on this forum. so I have to post 5 times before I can open a topic? What am I supposed to do? I've already posted my issue in a reply to a similar problem but am not getting any responses.
