  1. Well, the problem looks the same, execpt that I'm able to hear directly the guitar but not through GarageBand. I'm still obliged to record it and play it back to hear the result. It is a progress but I'm kind of surprise it doesn't work well and that I'm not able to hear directly the effects applied by GarageBand directly. I'm doing something wrong somewhere or somtehing's wrong... damned! Thanx anyway Toleda.
  2. Thanx toleda, I'm trying your solution.
  3. Hi everyone, My problem: no output from guitar connected on computer but i'm able to record it. Garageband react but no sound is coming out from it, except from the "Count In" options for example. My specifications: gigabyte Z87-hd3 with Realtek ALC892. Sound output working with any other applications like itunes and so on. Microphone indicate the input from guitar in system preferences but no sound are coming out. When I try to configure the Audio/Midi preferences in GarageBand, no changes if Built-in Output selected or other options. Same for input. Looks like the sound input (micro) and sound output are recognized as "internal" when it should be "Line in or out" or something like that. Anyone got a suggestion? Google search did not helped. Thanx
  4. What's the equivalent for memory multiplier for the P6T SE? Didn't found the option in Bios, and after some google research, looks like this mainboard doesn't have Memory multiplier. Tried with Ram Frequency up to 1331mHz, but system reset imediately when CMOS has arrived. This is a no go at this point. Snif. On a "auto" bios configuration, I'm able to login again...
  5. Base clock modified... sorry. Now it says 3,15Ghz Intel Core I7, 8Gb 995Mhz DDR3. Is it correct?
  6. Ok done, Thanks again... What's weird, it's that now the CPU is detected with a lower frequency 2,51Mhz, not 2,80. And the detected RAM is 995Mhz. Normal? First time in my life that I modify this kind of settings I'm learning and happy!!!
  7. Logical! I'll do the trichannel as soon as possible. Thermal paste changed, CPU Fan and Chassis Fans on turbo mode. CPU Ratio Settings on 19.0 but I was unable to found Base Clock Settings, so I manualy selected RAM Frequency at 1333MHz. Restarted and Mac Os gives me 8Gb 1336MHz... so its seems to be working. Gonna wait to see if stable. EDIT: Retried bdmesg on terminal: Base Block still at 133, gonna look further to change it to 166 as you said. Thanks to you just because I just learned that (older) Mainboards generaly limits DRAM to 1069MHz, so if you have superior DRAM, it should be manualy selected... Thanx for everything!!!
  8. Thanx for the advice, I'm gonna try this tonight but first of all, I'm gonna to replace the CPU thermal paste because it's mounted since almost 2 years... before doing your mild overclocking suggestion. About a triple channel set of ram... why not? But is it really necesary? This hack 's gonna be a data server and tv player most of the time... If it's the origin of the problem, I'll buy it directly!
  9. - DropSSDT desactivated. - RAM: when Chameleon start, it's indicating 1069Hz and not 1333 as it should. But on reboot, the gained stability disappear... 16: No change: Reset problem still there or more problematic, got freezes also now. The Ram is not detected as 1333Mhz but as a thousand and something. I'm trying to get a console message (I suppose I'll be able to find something with the freeze) but it crashes before I get there... trying to at the moment. If I don't login, it stay more stable... is it a problem from my graphics card? If it's a hardware problem, why am I able to install the whole system, configure it without any reset or freeze,... looks like I forgot something somewhere or do something terribly wrong. Please help! EDIT: gonna try to put my 2 Ram on the other channel... same result. EDIT: AppleACPIPlatform.kext for fast boot applied. Boot faster... problem unsolved. EDIT: kernel panic: this time I had time to get the information: TLB invalidation IPI Time out. CPU(s) failed to respond to imterrupts, unresponsive CPU bitmap: 0x41, NMIP acks,...
  11. Gosh... nice built... and really nice tower. This build looks gorgeous!
  12. Thanx a lot eep357!!! I'll take a look on these next days and surely will give a try! (but first a little image disk of the whole system before destroying it and looking for usefull informations What a pitty on yours images... we can't see the lady on your desktop
  13. Yep! The system still running now without any reset... so definitly much more stable, server.app running with some of the services actived, so now this is a big change. I'll see if with some reboot it stay stable to confirm. But what do you mean by enabling native power and speedstep? Is it worth or better leave the system as actual?
  14. Done it... I've rebuilt the cache, permissions et restarted. Now it has past 10 minuts before doing another reset. after that, I've used Multi**** 5.2 for the NullPCI. Repaired permissions and rebuilt cache. 8Gb Ram = 2 x Kingston KVR1333D3N9/4G : I've founded that this need a 1,5V supply but it is quite more compicated to be sure not modifying something wrong in the bios supply options. For the Ram, is it the QPI/DRAM CORE VOLTAGE or the Voltage DRAM BUS that I need to change to 1.5V? EDIT: no reset since 30 minuts... NullPCI seems to works!!! In anycase, this is much more stable now!!! THANX!!! EDIT: 1h30... and no reset... problem should be solved I think! Gosh I love this forum! Thanx eep357!!!
  15. Thanx again for the help. Never had problems with windows7 before. (except that at this moment I'm uninstalling my datas to format the Windows7 disk for a apple format). This time, and for the first time, the system freezed. I'm gonna give a try to NullCPuPowerManagement and make a check of the ram.
