  1. Just a quick note to let anyone know whom has this board ( firmware F7 Rev 1.0 ) the installation of Mountain Lion DP4 was fast and flawless, this has been the fastest and most easy install onto a hackintosh to date ! I pretty much followed this method ( John Cash ) <--- thanks http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=276647 However I used an internal Hard Disk and not a USB drive because this Gigabyte board dose not like booting from GUID USB sticks. Used the DSDT for my board with easy beast, bingo everything is working flawlessly. HIS 4670 1GB i7 2600K 3.5 Ghz 16GB 1333Mhz Few internal drives *** Your milage may vary, and because I did not use the above method to the "T" you will have {censored} around a little if you don't know what you are doing *** I am totally willing to help answer questions, just don't expect instantaneous response times. Thanks again to John Cash for the files he put together for everyone to enjoy, it truly made installing DP4 slick and quick !
  2. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it very much.
  3. HD 4670 and Flicker boot file

I used that same custom boot file with SnowLeopard as well; however doing a clean install of Lion brought my HIS 4670 HD right to life, it's 100% working right out of the box, I cannot understand how you would have having problems mate. Here is a copy of my boot file and com.apple.boot.plist files Archive.zip Hopefully this will help you.
  4. Stop downlaoding Lion Retail from torrents

That does not work for everyone mate; however many people have had luck with that method of booting AppStore in the butt so it works again.
  5. OS X 10.7 Lion on Shuttle SH67H3

Open your extra folder at the root of your boot disk, look for a file called com.apple.boot.plist and make a copy of it ( backup) right click the file and open with Text Edit and add this string to the list <key>Timeout</key> <string>2</string> Here is what my list looks like so you have a good idea of what I am talking about. After you add that string to your list, make sure you save it to the extra folder at the root of your boot disk, this will tell Chameleon to time out. About your random kernel panics, what does the Console application tell you is going on?
  6. GM Vs Lion

It's 100% the same, run Software Update and it will bring some core apps up to par.
  7. Lion GM released today

Yes it installed flawlessly on an XPC Shuttle SGJ141, working 100%
  8. 10.7 Goldmaster Installation

You can use this method here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=256729 Worked like a charm for me with the GM, just follow all the instructions and you should have success.
  9. Lion GM released today

I just finished downloading it from my developer account and you will indeed need to make a fresh install of the GM.
