  1. Asrock 945gcm-s and Ati 4850 help

Did you fix this? I had my ATI 4850 working on Leopard. Not sure if it will work on SL but you can try my kexts.
  2. SnowOSX 10.6.2 and Sapphire 4830

Worked for me on Leopard, but it should work on Snow too.
  3. SnowOSX 10.6.2 and Sapphire 4830

Try this. It worked on my Sapphire ATI HD 4850 and should probably work on yours too. ATI_48x0_Drivers.zip Installation of Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4850 driver - Followed guide on http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=155477 Boot with -s, and do the following commands: /sbin/mount -uw / cd /system/library/extensions rm -r ATI* rm -r natit.kext* Reboot with -f -v. Run the installation package 7_radeon_hd_48x0_drivers.pkg Install ATY_Motmot.kext with Kext Helper Reboot -f -v if you have the Bouncy Screen Bug - Install Package Natit_no_powerplay_4800_4600.pkg. Reboot -f -v. if you have Black Screen during Change of resolution - Install Natit_with_4850_bios_inside-1.pkg, reboot Hope it works for you. Good luck
  4. OS X on HP TouchSmart tx2?

Just have to set the Mac partition to Active using fdisk or the diskutil from terminal in the OSX86 setup disk. How did you fix the calibration? Did you get the Touch pad to work on tap? I have a Tm2 and I have some common problems like the ones mentioned in the above posts.
  5. How to switch ATI Radeon Mobility 4550 HD

Did you get a working kext for ATI Mobility 4550? I got the Intel one to work but its slow. I wonder if you got your ATI to work on the TM2.
  6. ATi Radeon HD 4550 Kext

Here is a zip file I found around while looking my card for ATI RD 4850. Not sure if it will work for you, but try it anyways. This might be a long shot, but try this too. The second package (NEW ATI 48x0 Drivers.zip) worked for my ATI Radeon 4850 with full acceleration. Try following these steps - Based on the guide on http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=155477 Boot with -s, and do the following commands: /sbin/mount -uw / cd /system/library/extensions rm -r ATI* rm -r natit.kext* Reboot with -f -v. Run the installation package 7_radeon_hd_48x0_drivers.pkg Replace it with files from pack1 (Radeon45x0_48x0.zip) if those contain your device ids. Use Kext Helper. Open ATY_Motmot/Contents/Info.plist and make sure your device id is listed there somewhere. Install ATY_Motmot.kext with Kext Helper Reboot -f -v Radeon45x0_48x0.zip NEW_ATI_48x0_Drivers.zip
  7. Problem With Ati 4850 1GB on SL

This one worked for me... follow in the right order... Based on Article- http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=155477 Boot with -s, and do the following commands: /sbin/mount -uw / cd /system/library/extensions rm -r ATI* rm -r natit.kext* Reboot with -f -v. Run the installation package 7_radeon_hd_48x0_drivers.pkg Install ATY_Motmot.kext with Kext Helper (important) Reboot -f -v If you have the bug - Bouncy Screen. Downloaded Package Natit_no_powerplay_4800_4600.pkg and install it. If you have the bug - Black Screen during Change of resolution. Downloaded Natit_with_4850_bios_inside-1.pkg, install, reboot. Driver worked perfectly.... ofcourse I spent like 2 days finding the right driver.... I would have gotten alot more sleep if I found this post earlier!! it even recognized my Monitor and has the name displayed perfectly, and also probably have the right driver/settings for it because the font is nice and crisp. Hope it works for you. Good luck. NEW_ATI_48x0_Drivers.zip
  8. I cannot boot up any version of Snow Leopard 10.6.X on my AMD Phenom 2 X4 955 64bit PC. I just dont know what the right combination of boot flags are. I have enabled AHCI on Bios, and All other options are as default. I installed iAtkos v7 successfully on the same PC, but that had different kernels that I could use to load up during installation. I used mach_970 busratio=20 for that one. Can someone tell me what would work as the right boot flags for this PC? Configuration is below on my signature. Thanks in Advance.
  9. Snow Leopard 10.6.2 on [ Hp tm2 ]

I installed Hazard Snow Leopard on my HPTm2, but I cant get to boot into it after install. It shows Kernel Panic. I used cpus=1 as boot flag. Can you let me know which kernel version you used during install?
  10. Snow Leopard 10.6.2 on [ Hp tm2 ]

Did you get the touch or calibration to work? Also did you install driver for ATI mobility 5500? If you did, can you share the kext file?
  11. How to switch ATI Radeon Mobility 4550 HD

Thanks for the new post. I got my HP Tm2 back and I am going to try getting Mac OSX installed on it.
  12. Yeh I installed the OHT patch from the DVD and now the Shut down panic errors are fine. Also got my iBall 6x4" stylus tablet to work.
  13. [How To] X800 XL set up with working Display Manager and QE/CI

Anyone know how to get the HEX numbers and where to put them in? Or how to patch the DotClock?
  14. I have 10.5.7 iAtkos version installed on ASUS A7v series. I can see that the graphics is much better when I change to the 1440x900 resolution, but because of the flicker the screen splits up into two. I am assuming its the dot clock value and I am still trying to figure how and what I have to edit to change the dotclock value for the drivers.
  15. Acer Aspire with Radeon HD 5650 low Rez

yeh its probably because you do not have the right drivers and you are using VESA. Type in ?video at boot prompt to see the compatible display resolutions and it may work out. Most of them might be 4:3 formats only.
